  1. Montpellier is class. I go out every year to visit a mate. Try time it so you're there on something called music day that they have. Entire city goes into lock down and there's bands on every corner, with folk getting smashed all day and night until the wee hours. I can't describe it well enough to do it justice, it's incredible.

Love the place too but never been on that day. Have played in that place with the car hanging out the wall though!
Went to watch MHSC tan Lyon 5-1 as well that was barry.
  2. The one with the shakeweight thing is quite funny but the Gordon Ramsay impression. I'm not one for exaggerating thing being funny but i was actually crying.

And some tacked-on scene on a Towely one, they're sitting playing a console and someone goes 'Cool an underwater level!'
'Don't forget to bring a towel'
    They all laugh
    'You're a terrible character Towely'
    'I know'

  3. This is not an original observation but i agree with it: from last season we already had a back 2 that were 8/10 at heading it away and 7/10 at keeping possession. We broke that up to have MVoto head it away 9/10 but keep possession 3/10 max. It was never a good economy even if he did better than expected on the deck in some games. Him getting POTY was equivalent to the guy who scores a terrible 1-1 getting MOTM.

  4. Was assuming Now TV for this as well.

I went there in September, ate a pure terrible burger in the diner and, guess what, the coffee was weak pish.

Some posh English lassie was giving it big licks about the 'cherry pie' being the best in her life. Tried it and it was Iceland freezer, under a £, grade grot.

    Just shows ye

  5. Bordeaux is a brilliant long weekend. Not as pricey as expected either!
For eating, L'Entrecote is famous for lunch and dinner - only has one set menu consisting of a walnut salad (bizzarely), then steak cooked in garlic and butter with chips , but I can't do justice to just how good the grub is using my limited vocab! Phenomenal.
Best drinking can be done at the Wine University café (can't remember the exact name) across the road from this restaurant. Staffed by students training to become sommeliers, local wines sold at a discount for helping them train. Mix of all sorts including sweet wines.
We stayed in the Adagio Aparthotel which was decent for the deal we got via trivago. Be aware that star ratings there seem to be on the optimistic side too, our "4 star" apartment was a solid 3 star IMO.
Other thing worth doing is a day trip to St Emillion on the train. Cracking wee cobbled village with cheap Grand Crus to try in one of the many local bars.

You've fairly sold it to me, tbqh
