  1. This does my tits in. Especially when WWE do it on SmackDown! playing the boos when Daniel Bryan comes out when you can see the fans are absolutely loving it.
  2. Wish we could just fast forward this saga to the big tax case being decided.
  3. The only thing these administrators are making redundant are my afternoons. What are they doing in there?!
  4. I should probably add to my post that by saying I would be 'happy' with it, that's me saying out of the possible outcomes, that's the one I'd favour. As it's in impossibility that we will not see ANY form of Rangers next season, as far as I'm concerned. In a fantasy world I would say I'm happy with them being six feet under. But in the real world I'd be happy to see them start at the bottom of their possible outcomes.
  5. All depends on what you see as a fitting punishment for what they've done I suppose. Personally, I would be fine with them being put into the Third Division. Not only would they lose all their history, they would lose a lot of their fans and would never (I'd imagine) become the force they once were. Getting straight into the SPL isn't a punishment at all. A lot of non-league sides don't want to be in the Scottish leagues as far as I'm aware.
  6. Absolutely. Although we should definitely have a play-off to the SPL anyway, disregarding all this. In terms of league reconstruction and all that jazz, that is the one thing I want implemented more than anything.
  7. Well, no... I'm surprised you've came away with a comment like this since you normally seem to have a good grasp on these matters. Rangers going would open up a space in Scottish football's professional leagues. Well, it would open up a space in the SPL. I wouldn't want to see a new Rangers get handed that space, I would want either 2nd in First Division (Falkirk/Dundee) to get it, or Dunfermline to avoid relegation. Re-jig the rest of the leagues to make the space in the Third Division. Then clubs would apply, so for arguments sake New Rangers/Spartans/Cove Rangers etc. Clubs would obviously vote in the New Rangers, and if that were to be the case I'd be happy with that. Ergo, I'd not be happy if they strolled into the SPL but would be fine with them starting off at the bottom of the professional ladder (ie. Third Division). How is that hypocritical in any way, shape or form?
  8. If Sky came out and said the deal would remain the same and they would still be interested in the rights to the SPL, then how many chairmen would vote against Rangers coming back in? I honestly don't think I could stomach going to watch football in Scotland again if a new Rangers were allowed to stroll back into the SPL, as if they weren't big cheating b*****ds. I would be fine with a new Rangers coming back into the Third Division, but for them to jump straight to the SPL ahead of teams (like mine) in the First Division who are desperate to get up, I think that would be the last straw for me.
  9. Saw it on twitter and it linked me to Rangers Blue Brigade's facebook post.
  10. Mervan Celik: "I apologise to all Rangers fans for not being able to give them the performances and goals I promised in my short stay here. I refused to give up 75% of my wages because, why should I? It was not my fault the club are in this crisis. They really should not have signed me to a contract that they can't afford to pay."
  11. To be fair, I don't think a rancid smell at Ibrox is a fresh development.
  12. 12.55pm: STV reports that Rangers administrators Duff and Phelps have secured a court order to seize £3.6m from Craig Whyte’s solicitors. Collyer Bristow received money for season ticket sales sold to Ticketus before the takeover last May. It is understood that this will not affect any decisions on reduncancies.
  13. Going to Thistle games with my brother, dad, uncles, granddad as a kid are some of my best memories of growing up. Wouldn't be the same talking about football if one of us supported Ayr United, one St. Mirren, one Stranraer, one Motherwell etc. so in that sense I have no qualms about saying I started supporting Partick Thistle because it's a family thing. But that's going off on a tangent. Hurry up and announce the redundancies!
  14. First gig of the year tomorrow; The Black Keys in Edinburgh. Free ticket as well, woop woo.
  15. Watched three films last night: Taken (9/10) The King of Comedy (7/10) Yes Man (7/10)
  16. £10 on Leeds United, Portsmouth & Ross County returned £50.52. £40 has been returned to my bank. £9 now placed on Everton, Athletico Madrid, PSG, Schalke, Juventus. Returns about £60. £1.52 was lost on a wee spin of roulette (couldn't help myself).
  17. Only bet of the day was a 4-fold: Hearts, Dundee, Ayr, Livingston. £6 returning £34.32. Since the Dundee game was off, I should get around £19 back.
  18. £1.50 on John Terry FGS @ 25's.
  19. Well if I were you, I'd run. I'd run fast. He's after you.
  20. Kasabian - 16/11 - Liverpool Arctic Monkeys - 24/11 - Glasgow Ian Brown - 16/12 - Glasgow B)
