Tonight I ran for 4.27km which took me just short of 27 mins. I'm not too bothered about the time, which isn't great at all, more the distance. Once I can comfortably run 10km then I'll worry about getting the time better. I did take the advice on this thread and started the couch to 10k, but I just couldn't motivate myself. As my above post hints at, I'm pretty lazy. However, I've started running with somebody around my weight. I find it so much better to run with someone than by myself. I know that if I'd went out tonight on my own I'd have quit after about 15 mins. Having someone there just pushing you that bit more, I feel anyway. This is just a mental thing that I'll need to improve on. Anyway, next Monday I'll break the 5km barrier and then I'm hoping by the end of July to be able to reach 7.5km.
