  1. I was in the Bon Accord at Charing Cross on Friday and they have a bottle of this on the top shelf. At £900 a half it could be just the thing you are looking for! And there is a least a couple of measures out of it, so somebody hasn't been scared off by the price.
  2. No wonder, on that showing by the WIndies you certainly aren't going to plan on seeing Day 3 or 4.
  3. For all the good they did, you would have been as well shoving them up...Oh wait...
  4. Up til now I was pretty ambivalent in regards to the bridge being closed. Now though we have to travel to play Hill of Beath in mid January so it better be fixed by then.
  5. The scary part is that someone, somewhere thinks they are funny.
  6. The latest Tesco ads with Ben Miller are utterly dreadful.
  7. An absolute horsing as the Aussies win by an innings and 212 runs. Windies all out for 148 with Brathwaite scoring 95 of them. Gabriel looks as if he will be on the way home with the foot injury he suffered on day 1, he was a bit erratic anyway but he is their quickest bowler.
  8. M8/M73/M74? Absolute disaster area, Raith interchange at Bothwell is a nightmare.
  9. 21-2 now after Bravo is dismissed for the second time in under an hour.
  10. A rare sight these days, but Australia have enforced the follow on after the Windies could only add 16 more runs for the loss of their last wickets with Shannon Gabriel unable to bat. They are currently 15-1 after Chandrika went for nought.
  11. Been watching some ofvthe Aussies v Windies the last couple of nights. Sad to see how poor the Windies are at the moment, having grown up watching a succession of genuinely terrifying pace bowlers they are utterly toothless with the ball in hand just now. Australia declared on 583-4 with Voges on 269no and Shaun Marsh scoring 182. They then got ripped into the Windies who were 207-6 at the close. Resumes at 11.30 tonight.
  12. Gregor Townsend extends his deal, but worryingly only by one year until 2017.
  13. Unless you happen to be a regular user of the Falkirk Grahamston to Glasgow service which has been cancelled altogether so they can use those trains over the Forth. They are now being bussed from Falkirk to Cumbernauld with pick ups at Camelon etc along the way.
  14. Shame, the bit just closer to the camera is the rugby club and I've had a beer in there a couple of times before matches at Brunton Park. Here's Stirling County's Bridgehaugh this morning.
  15. I've been to Oakley three times, the adults were in danger too.
  16. If anyone hasn't seen it, I can recommend watching her in Tipping the Velvet. Plenty of bits that you can skip through tbf.
  17. Would have been better to take the seats out altogether, pretty sure they could cram a lot more folk in that way.
  18. She's also Rachael Stirling's real life mum.
  19. Cineworld in Glasgow city centre is falling apart, large sections of the roof have been blown off.
  20. Thoroughly enjoyed this series, but if it's finished fifth good then it's a good way to end it. Diana Rigg isn't wearing too well, didn't even realise it was her that was in it until the other night.
  21. Confirmed as off now, God knows how it took them so long to tweet it.
  22. The M9 is closed southbound between junctions 9 & 10 at the moment due to flooding.
  23. Even if they did have spare carriages, some of the stations don't have big enough platforms to take trains any longer than they already are.
  24. Nicked from Facebook: "To all Edinburgh citizens laughing at Fifers being cut off from you, the Amazon warehouse is on our side. Merry Christmas!"
  25. Mike Blair will be the first player ever to be mic'd up during tomorrow's game. Hope he minds his ps and qs!
