  1. I wonder how many of them were genuine spelling mistakes by whoever was registering the birth, and they are now trying to pass it off as being a cool unique name Eg: Aden Cristopher Declyan Declyn I've looked a fair bit back into my family history and Ephraim was used quite a lot up until a great uncle who was born in the 1920s, amazed to see that someone still chose it last year.
  2. Usual ICB bending to the Indians. Ludicrous that they have all the technology but won't use it. Scotland did get the benefit on Saturday though with an absolutely plumb lbw decision that wasn't given.
  3. All out 48 runs short. That's how to shut up a crowd.
  4. England taking on Mumbai in a warm up match with Vince, Buttler, Willey and Rashid all guesting for the locals. England ended on 177, with Willey taking a hat trick with the last 3 balls dismissing Root, Moeen and Jordan.
  5. Horne must have given himself a chance to start after the way he played today, but imo I think Cotter will stick with Russell and keep Horne on the bench due to his ability to play just about anywhere in the back line.
  6. Been superb this year, that was brilliant awareness, if he had caught that Spedding was going to flatten him.
  7. And just as I post that France give away a daft one.
  8. Started before half time, daft penalty given away that allowed France to get up the park and score that try.
  9. We really need to get a hooker who can actually carry out the basics of the job description.
  10. Good start, then give France the chance to get out of trouble with a cheap penalty letting them get upfield to score.
  11. To be fair they did mention last night that the show started at 2 with highlights of the two games from yesterday, then the build up to today's match.
  12. Not put it on yet, have they actually mentioned Scotland or France yet? Just a wild guess like.
  13. Ireland finished with a defeat, with their match against the Dutch reduced to 6 overs each. Ireland were set a target of 60 but could only reach 47-7. Another brilliant catch taken by the Dutch. World Twenty20 2016: 'Unbelievable' catch from Netherlands' Seelaar - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/35797994
  14. Brian Moore hit the nail on the head with this tweet earlier. "Scot v France- Please stop saying we don't know which French side will turn up today. We do; it will be the big, ponderous and unsubtle one." If Scotland's set piece can function like it did against Italy then I fancy us to win.
  15. Only going by the highlights, but Wales did their usual of trying to batter their way through the middle and got nowhere. England targeted Cuthbert and his defensive frailties were shown up. I can never get my head round why Wales don't get their backs into the game more. They told you one fact on 5live the other week after they had beaten France. Jonathan Davies at 13 did not throw a single pass in the whole match. I find that stunning.
  16. Thought Scotland were excellent today, bowled some decent stuff and the way they batted then I think they would have taken out the full 128 target if they had to. Great way to seal the win with Machan belting it for 6.
  17. Honestly can't believe that this lot are going to win a grand slam, can't see the French doing anything to stop them.
  18. Another rain delay, Scotland have been set a revised target of 76 from 10 overs.
  19. 127-7 after a rain delay. Should be a target that Scotland can reach, weather might intervene though.
  20. Had a feeling that they might fall apart after losing to Scotland.
  21. Zimbabwe have a big target to chase, needing 187 to beat The Afghans. Eta: not even close 95-7 after 16 overs.
