By the way , nobody has convinced me of the long term future of Sevco after posing the question earlier. Have all the business minded amongst you been too caught up in the triumphalism of having the biggest support in the diddy world ? Surely some of you have asked the question ? Fergus McCann gave you the model to follow yet already you seem to be falling into the same old habits ! Throw some money at it to appease the punter ..........The way forward ?

Nobody mentioned blame ! You stated that it was the SPL clubs who voted you into the 3rd div. That was most certainly not the case ! They voted you out of the SPL and the SFL clubs voted to keep you in Scottish senior football ! We could have easily voted as East Fife alledgedly did and you might have been playing your derbies against Pollok !

Would that be the whoring in which Glasgow Rangers were up to their knees in before their demise ? The SPL were set up to serve the greed and selfishness of them and Celtic !! Don't give me all the moral high ground pish now that you've walked away from it ! Your old club helped create the mess Scottish football was in and took the easiest option out of it !! You may be a participant in the SFL , but you are in no position to class yourselves as anything other than an SPL outcast ! Integrity also means honouring your debts ! Fair enough Sevco probably wangled a deal with their sister club to get Templeton, but what about all the other member clubs waiting for their dues ?

A lot more blue noses on here now due to the lack of activity on the liquidation front !! They obviously think that the longer things go on without any more repercussions, the more people will either forget or just get fed up with the situation ! In fact the stories of complete denial are becoming a regular feature !!!! What has not been discussed is the plan of action from Green and his consortium. What is the long term future for the new club ? What assurances have been given for the long term security ? All we can see is a somewhat dodgy "car salesman " flashing a wad at the fans saying "everything will be fine lads " . And an equally dodgy team manager , with no plan , no idea where the club will be in 2years time , trying to blame his dodgy signings on the players themselves. I would have thought the true business minded Rangers fans would have seen what happened with Fergus McCann at Celtic and demanded a similar business model to be adapted . But no they all seem to be happy with a leader deflecting the real issues and blaming all and sundry for the demise of Rangers . A few choice words seem to be enough to sway the support to come out in defiance of the truth . As long as the money is being flashed short term, the gullible will lap it all up . As they did for the last 20 odd years !! The reality is , with no real business plan and no real thought being given to the problems here and now, how long can this false pretence go on ? The apparent swagger from the Ibrox hordes is set to come to a shuddering halt if (and hopefully when) the EBT and tax issues rear their heads again . I would be very wary of what the future holds.

Difference is , Adams doesn't go shouting that he needs to urgently sign quality players with money that he doesn't have !!! ( despite the fact that "quality players " had been signed 2 weeks earlier )

So , on a Fergus McCann scale , what exactly is the business plan at Sevco ? From what I remember, The Bunnet set out a 5 year plan from the outset , detailing how he would address the debt at Celtic Park . He stated exactly how much he would invest at the start and exactly how much he would walk away with after 5 years. His promise was to leave Celtic on a firm financial footing with an effective business model from which the club could move forward in future years. He stated that the first 2-3 years would be very difficult as the club would have to go back to basics and live within their means. He said the fans wouldn't like it, but sacrifices had to be made in order for the club to progress . The rest is history . McCann left after his 5 years having fulfilled all his promises including the building of a new stadium. No hidden agendas ! Compare that to the farcical goings on at Ibrox ! Hughie has worked out exactly what the fans want ............Big signings and business as usual , but who cares how it's funded !!! Tell them all that investors of Donald Trump proportions are coming in ! ...........And when they don't ? .........Just tell them that investors bigger than Donald Trump are coming in !! .............And when THEY don't ? ................Well , by that time those gullible fans will have invested more than enough for Hughie to bugger off with the takings ! I just can't comprehend the mentallity of these supporters who follow blindly and are willing to accept the word of someone with as dodgy a past as Arthur Daley ! Worse still , they continue to invest their hard earned in a club with so much uncertainty ! God help them but Hell mend them !!

The Fife fans will be able to tell us if the place was full or not ! Hissing Sid Collumbine won't miss a trick ! He will fight for every last penny ! In fact I think it should be the duty of every fan in Scotland to protest and make sure East Fife get everything they are entitled !!
