I’d actually agree on Clancy. At least the last couple of times I’ve seen him in charge of a game, I’ve been disappointed by the end not to be utterly raging at his incompetence. I’m not saying he was actively good but not particularly bad either.

A bit fortunate with the penalty as we were letting out ball carriers get very isolated. I also hate the way Laidlaw will just stand and watch the opposition turnover the ball, when the support is slow, instead of fighting for it himself.

Finn had to do better there, even if it was just to buy more time.

I think Wales will be disappointed by that. They got as much possession as you can realistically hope to get at Twickenham but wasted it so many times. Even when they did manage to break through, and should have scored a couple of times, they messed it up.

Why would you want them to get a bonus point? It's unlikely that will effect us. If we beat them it's not going to matter, if we don't they'll deservedly finish ahead of us. At half time O'Driscoll made a comment about trying to keep Italy to zero points so it would have been nice for Italy to go on to get 4 tries. They might be poor at the moment but at least they're trying to score tries when they can.

Sportsound, and in particular Willie Miller, are a disgrace. Richard Gordon seems to be the only person with a vague grasp of how the Nations League, and even then I'm not convinced he fully understands it. Willie Miller openly admitted he's not bothered to look into the competition at all. He didnt even know which countries were competing in it. Retire or sack him, just don't let him on my radio ever again. After the petty nonsense between Tom English and Michael Stewart on Monday and now this, I think that's me done with Sportsound.

Ruaridh Jackson has been brilliant and so consistent for Glasgow this season but it just shows what they've been missing with Hogg. On another level altogether.

I think their player was being smart and knew what he was doing but I don't actually think the replay showed it clearly enough to give it. Was certainly surprised by the decision.

I know it has plenty of flaws but I love the Phantom Menace. Most likely because it was the first Star Wars film I saw in the cinema, it was out at a time when I still bought Star Wars toys and gave me so much more to buy and, the PS1 game was awesome.
