He's got another 2 years left on his deal and considering he signed that deal in February when we were clearly in a relegation battle the club would've needed to have been incredibly stupid to include any sort of clause in it that he can go if we go down. If anyone wants him they'd be paying for him.

He signed in the 08/09 season so this season coming is his testimonial season. I'm sure the club mentioned it would be his testimonial year when he signed his deal to take him up to 2019 but nothing since. Elliott would still have another 3 seasons to go before reaching his testimonial. I don't see either leaving tbh.

Hopefully relegation means a return to Firhill for this hero.

Out of those under contract I'd punt Edwards and Barton if we can find someone to take them and suspect Keown won't want to stick around. Out of those out of contract the only one I'll miss is Lawless. Based on absolutely nothing he's ever done for us but I'd like to keep Storey and actually play him up front to see if he is worth keeping around to save having to go out and sign another striker. I genuinely can't believe it's 11am the day after we are down and Archie is still in charge.

What an odd defence of Booth. Acknowledging he's both made mistakes and other players have been worse therefore he's somehow not shite because what? He's fit? I prepare to be corrected by someone but I always get the impression we concede a lot of goals either down his side or because he loses his man and the other defenders have to cover for him and he loves giving away penalties and free kicks just outside the box. The fact we were wanting him to be fit for the playoff games is more out necessity and because Archibald won't play Penrice who I'd much rather we gave a chance next season than Booth regardless of which division we're in.

They always crowd the midfield though, we knew it would happen as did everyone on here yet the manager somehow didn't and was surprised we had to resort to long balls. Archie had all week to come up with a plan to play against a midfield that presses well and fights for every 2nd ball and that team was his answer. It'd be funny if it wasn't so depressing.

You're clutching at straws if you think he signed a youth player or someone who was already in the youth system when he joined. That's exactly the type of loser mentality that pervades the club. What's the point in us being in this league if our aim is to simply survive? When the other sides outside the top 4 get even remotely close to a season as terrible as we're having scoring 30 goals and gaining 30 points in the process they try to do something about it whether that be a change of manager or further backing in the transfer window or whatever. We, on the other hand, make weak statements about not tolerating poor results before the board stick their head in the sand for the next 6 months as the season continues to be as shite as it was in October That's why teams like Kilmarnock and Motherwell have been in the league for 20 odd years and teams like us and Inverness last season with Foran sleepwalk through a season into an absolute mess of a situation. Getting to a cup semi final or beating the better sides in the league should not be a bonus and this mentality is a large part of the reason why only Hamilton out of all the full time teams, not just other Premier League teams, have a worse record in the cups than us over the last 20 or 30 years . Every single other team in the league, including those relegated in recent years, have managed these apparent bonuses since we won promotion and many of them have achieved them on a regular basis. It's pathetic we couldn't manage either of them in the last 5 years.

The "who will we get" seems to have disappeared to be replaced with "well it wasn't Archie who missed that chance/didn't mark his man/gave away the free kick' as if he can somehow be absolved of blame despite him signing and picking the players making the fucking mistakes. Loser mentality is exactly what it is. We've been perfectly happy just to make up the numbers since promotion and if/when we go down we'll have f**k all to show for it. Zero trips to Hampden and zero wins over the Old Firm when every other club in the division in that time has done at least one of the 2 and most of them have done both but still top 6 was magic eh?

If it's not a draw I'd rather Dundee won tbh. I don't trust us to have to go to Dens and get a result if Dundee were still in with a shout so if Dundee can beat Accies and Ross County in their next 2 and go into the final game safe and on their holidays I'd take our chances of going there knowing a result could put us 10th (or 11th if we f**k up one of our home games).

I'm sure all the staff and volunteers at the club will be delighted to know Maxwell does all the behind the scenes work, they'll be able to put their feet up for the rest of the season.

The title is clickbait but I don't really see what's wrong with the content of the video that puts it in this thread.

Not a site but Jack's Flight Club's emails are pretty good for giving cheap deals on flights. There's a free email and a subscription service. They tend to use Momondo and Google Flights for searching going by some of the screenshots as well as SkyScanner.

While we're complaining about people receiving discounts that I don't get it's time to say kids getting in for free is a disgrace. and carers getting in along with disabled fans for nothing? Are we running a charity or something?
