Is James Craigen really a quality player or is the fact he's a nice guy make people think he's far better than he actually he is?
He's tidy enough and OK at everything bar goalscoring without being spectacular at much.

Douglas McCrea supports Thistle so I don't imagine getting a new main sponsor to replace MacB will have any impact on the McCrea sponsorship.
ETA: Their sponsorship of Thistle goes back years, way before any involvement with the Warriors I would imagine.

It was designed by David Shrigley according to the article. It's art so it's way over my head. They should just get David Shrigley prints on the front of our top, they look weird but are better than the angry sun God.
We're also getting a new Shrigley designed mascot called Kingsley, it will probably terrify the children.

I was in doing overtime today and since I was bored and sad enough I counted up the unavailable seats on the buy a season ticket section of the official site now the period for reserving your own seat is over. We've sold around 1300-1400 (there's some areas that aren't available that you can't tell if they're sold or just greyed out by the club and I never included areas that are used for hospitality).
No idea how that compares to previous seasons but it seems quite low, probably why they extended the early bird period for another week there.

Seems to be a few options for Eastleigh other than the £115 return to Southampton.
Bournemouth is only 40 odd mins away and a cheaper flight or it's only just over an hour from London Waterloo.
Think I might do Bournemouth, hope it's not miserable and head up from there.

It depends on Archie's targets and the budget. If Higgy was one of the higher earners in the team then he wasn't really justifying it and I'd rather we got someone else. If he wasn't then he'd be worth taking on for another year in hope he could recreate his form from the tail end of the 13/14 season.
I'd suspect it's the former so I'd be happy for us to move on and find someone else.

There's nothing really that I can see that the club have done horrendously wrong this summer so far. Certainly nothing to merit threats of withholding season ticket money or the like.
Fox - Wanted a better deal based on an inflated sense of self worth. Archie clearly thought he could do better for similar money and most fans would probably agree it looks like, on paper at least, he has by bringing in Cerny as a replacement.
Higginbotham - Apparently one of our top earners, does the last season justify him being one of our top earners? Probably not so good luck to him if he can get better money elsewhere as he certainly didn't deserve it here.
O'Donnell - Was always going to leave and got a move to England, I don't think there's much the club could've done there.
Pre-season training hasn't even started yet and 2 players who should go straight into the first team in Cerny and Booth have been signed, it's hardly time to get upset because Kilmarnock or Ross County decided 2 of our players were worth more in wages than our club did.
The club budgets to break even and for the past couple of years they seemingly have, even without taking anything else into consideration like other clubs getting better crowds than us do we really want to go down the same route as for example Motherwell who lost close to £200k according to their 13/14 accounts?
