  1. Holmgren-Pedersen has pulled out of the Norway squad with an injury. He started at right back in both of the March games ahead of Ryerson of Dortmund so it seems much like a Patterson coming in for Hickey situation.
  2. He lives in Dumfries and I'm sure we agreed to let him train part time so I'd be surprised if it's true.
  3. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/club-update-8th-june-2023/ Smillie gone, £170k committed by the Foundation and a number of fans have got in touch with the club to invest. Amazing what telling people you need money can do rather than Low claiming to the Foundation they didn't need fans to fundraise.
  4. I'd quite like to keep McCready just to keep up our record of employing players with famous sporting dads along with McFadden and Lennon.
  5. I feel some of those talks are just for the club to say they tried. Some of them don't really make much sense either, Sneddon surely will want to go and if we're as skint as we say then sticking a kid on the bench and getting an emergency loan if Mitchell gets injured would be the way to go to save cash on a position where it's not massively needed.
  6. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/2023-24-season-tickets-on-sale-tomorrow/
  7. More than likely Falkirk at Firhill in the league cup group stages. The navy blue pound will save us.
  8. Does that make QP the 'Glasgow Linfield' now? Looking forward to a day out on the southside without having to worry about the hassle of getting a ticket for a shite allocation.
  9. I wouldn't be massively surprised if Spain dropped more points, they were close to dropping points away to Georgia in qualifiers only a couple of years ago until Dani Olmo scored an injury time winner and I thought the recent 3-0 scoreline over Norway flattered them. I think it would suit us better for them to beat everyone else though. It would leave Norway or Georgia being able to pick up a maximum of 16 points and that would include having to beat us twice. I'd rather just worry about qualifying for now and then if results go our way over the next few games aim to finish above Spain.
  10. I'd rather we go bust than have to read the last few posts ever again.
  11. As strange as it sounds if we're ranking results I'd put 2 points above 3 with the win v Georgia. It would mean Norway are at best 3pts behind after 4 played rather than 2pts.
  12. A couple of them hiding in plain sight laughably writing articles for Nutmeg about Scottish football governance or tweeting about this season being a missed opportunity without a hint of a brass neck.
  13. I'm not sure listing Leipzig with their backup goalie signed in a panic in October due to Gulasci's cruciate injury and who couldn't find a club all summer after leaving Reading or Napoli where Leo Ostigard has started about half a dozen games really helps your argument here.
  14. There's still c***s out there who love Alan Rough. I get he might have been their hero growing up but I'm pretty sure if Chris Erskine in 30 years time acted like Rough I could still realise he's an arsehole.
  15. I think I'll be holding off until the ownership is properly sorted out before renewing tbh. After last year where the old board waited until the season started and people had paid their money to announce they were binning the Foundation and then handing the club over to the Thistle Trust I'd rather wait and see what happens. I'm not even sure if we're on track for the schedule announced by the Foundation back in February.
  16. Just as well we've got £14m in assets if you believe the last statements. The previous board have impressively managed to go from a position of having around £625k in the bank at the end of May 2021 to more than likely near zero right now.
  17. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/club-update-7th-june-2023/ Statement also throws the former board under the bus. Looking forward to Low trying to DM them threatening legal action like she did with fans who said something she didn't like.
  18. Tyrone Smith from the BBC reporting the Tiffoney to Dundee news now. Just glad he's not sticking around in the division.
  19. I'm booked to go to this but after Sunday's disaster I just want to pretend football doesn't exist for a while. Bookies have Norway around 21/20 which seemed generous.
  20. No real surprises in the Norway squad.
  21. Involved in their equaliser too. Imagine throwing away a 1-0 lead to lose 3-1.
