The game lasted 90 minutes plus. Yes the support were very vocal at times but also sat on their hands at other times . I can understand a support going quiet when their teams getting pumped , but we weren’t and we’re at home where we should’ve taken full advantage . If you want an example of what I’m talking about , watch the return leg on Thursday night .

The negativity shown by many before the game , grows arms and legs and the people start believing it’s a forgone conclusion before a ball is kicked . This is the reflected by the support during the game, which transmits to the players . Its a Scottish thing We’re eternal pessimists

Keep seeing comments like this and other threads on how “Scottish Clubs don’t do well in Europe “ Personally I think a lot of this is to you with the amount of fucking negativity displayed by supporters before the game which is tbh is a Scottish trait . Many of the comments on this thread had us defeated last night before a ball was kicked . They were no great shakes and like I said earlier , imo a weaker team that Rosenborg. Far too many sweetie wrapper rustling cnuts at the football these days who don’t get behind their team and are too interested in sooking through their pack of Weathers Originals instead of voicing their support . Negativity breeds negativity and this was apparent in some parts of the game last night when the crowd went totally flat

Beaten by a very over rated team with a dodgy defence which we never exploited. I actually think Rosenberg were a better team than this lot . However, out task wasn’t helped by a very questionable management decision to play Cochrane way out of position in right midfield . Also leaving substitutions way too late in the game to make any real impact . Same old story with of us giving an average team far too much respect before and during the game, as they were certainly there for the taking

An overused phrase , but the support really needs to be the 12th man tonight and make Tynecastle as intimidating as possible , as it’s going to be a absolute cauldron in the return leg . Granted , we were as noisy as I’ve heard at Tynecastle for years last week, but we need to make that sound like a wake ! We can do this if we show some self belief as supporters and transfer that to the players on the pitch ! If you’re going tonight and you see any c**t not singing, give them a fucking slap . ETA Too many defeatist attitudes on here. Cups are all about upsets and whilst PAOK are no giants, we can do this !

Great result last night and brilliant to see the team dig in and fight for the result. In my opinion one of the major factors last night was the crowd. It’s definitely the best atmosphere I’ve heard at Tynecastle for ages, even when we went 1 down , as all too often I think a large selection of the support go quiet too easily and don’t always contribute to the “amazing atmosphere reputation “ Tynecastle has. More of the same please as it’s definitely reflected on the pitch
