  1. Inspection Kirkcaldy 9 o c. EDIT Kirkcaldy & Dysart v WW game ON
  2. No need to get cheeky! I'm sure not every Berwick fan is on pie and bovril especially the ones you were voicing your concerns over. You'd struggle for a team in the Northern League min. Alnwick Town might have been closest recently but even they got relegated from there. Even at that if you were a Northern League club you'd still need to get to Teeside and North Yorkshire. As you state all about opinions, geographics a problem no matter where you're playing, sometimes it's better the devil you know though.
  3. If it concerned you that much should you not have brought that up with the club long before this? Even now you're only showing your grievances on a football forum. There was never a problem geographically as you were a league club who could easily attract Lothians players and would also be training in the Lothians. Now it looks like you might have no option but to look local for players, as I stated earlier Bonnyrigg and some ex junior teams have launched their bids to get up the pyramid, players in and around Edinburgh don't see Berwick as the big draw they once were when they were a league club. There are loads clubs within the same grade more local than Berwick. That to me is where your main problem lies.
  4. Is this because you're struggling to compete for players in the Edinburgh area now that Bonnyrigg are a league side and a few other ex junior Lothian based sides are working their way up the pyramid set up? Berwick s decline seems to be on a par wi that.
  5. There's a ballot result being announced shortly. Plenty notice has to be given for strike dates too. Ive a feeling your trip to Gretna might just be ok.
  6. Would Nitten Dunbar and Glenrothes no be pre season favourites anyway? Has/is anything happening to Shipyard for failing to field a team in a match? Obviously the match has been played since but is it all just brushed under the carpet? Tight at the bottom anyone from Leith down could go.
  7. Of course certainly wasn't a criticism. I'm all for more spectator comfort around the grounds.
  8. No sure about costs but if its in same place as when they played ww might have visionary troubles of the pitch especially down the wings. It was at least 3 or 4 yards behind the pitch . I'd expect a gap be made in the pitch boundary fence.
  9. You're still bitter,a lad living within a stones throw of yer ground ended up elsewhere.
  10. A font of knowledge on all things EoSFL. Best one has to be the Leith thread and thinking Johnny Harvey is the manager.
  11. This is the East of Scotland forum pal somewhere yer "mighty Sandys" will probably never be. Ye seem to be getting a kick out of all this wi yer pish patter but its actually embarrassing for yer club more than anything else. Maybes time to grow up and give it a rest eh.
  12. Well they've already beat the team sitting 2nd on their own patch for a start. The new manager has improved things 100% no doubt about that just been very unlucky in his 1st few games. Should've been out of sight last Saturday against Leith and 2 missed pens in 2 previous league matches have proved costly dropping points otherwise wouldn't be where they are. A bizarre comment saying give him time when he's only been there for a few games. As previously stated I'm confident Whitehill won't go down in a wide open league where everybody is capable of taking points of each other.
  13. Really wish folk would stop comparing the Scottish non league system to the English one. Financial differences are huge.
  14. Whitehill won't be relegated despite what some folk think. On that note how many points do you think clubs will need to avoid relegation? There's usually a safety barrier bit it looks tricky in this league.
  15. Which one was the Sam Smiths boozer. Next to a Willie Hills? Was in there before a stroll doon to Spartans once. Was nae too bad I thought.
  16. Have they still got the bar at the ground?
  17. Newcastle u21s 1 v Sunderland u21s 1 in action this evening in Premier League 2. A crowd of 2511 and a stoppage time equaliser from the Sunderland keeper . Segregation even at this level made it an amusing evening especially with the travelling fans going wild wi the equaliser. Only chance al get to see St.James' Park this season. £3 £1 entry.
  18. Believe it when I see it. Got to ask why George did nae ask that question when was chair of the LL ?
