  1. Wooft. After being ridden live on national tele what have the pars fans got to say today I wonder.. Ah yes, we’re throwing money at it. You know zero facts about our total salary and expenditure. DEFLECT, DEFLECT, DEFLECT. Plenty I could respond on that however there’s zero point. You should concern yourself with your squad looking like absolute dross with literally ZERO of them would make our starting 11. Sh1tehawks who can’t play with speed or get stuck in. Felt like we were playing Montrose or the likes last night. Semis of the challenge cup, fair chance of final and more lovely cash entering the till. 4th round of the Scottish with either a potential payday or a winnable game to advance. 2nd in the league and right on United’s coattails. It’s a lovely time to be a Rover. Home crowds up a 1000. Merch constantly sold out. Increased hospitality, regularly sold out. Fantastic social media above anything in the division. Raith TV non comparable to anything in the division and better than some SPL sides. Worry about your own team and inability to win or even score a goal. Crying about our transfer dealing reeks of not being able to accept you are levels below your neeburs and face reality which is…well… your a bit pish. Things change in life, Rovers are on top and rather than struggling to come to terms of that ask the Germans where the Nisbet dough has went as it ain’t went on that shambles of a squad.
  2. Just back and that was superb. Stanton, Easton, Vaughan, Hamilton and big sexy in the goal are levels above anything the pars have on the park. Heard McPake’s interview on the way back in the car and fair play he had no excuses. Was clear he had no idea how to match our formation and had no idea how to counter it. Big Jack Hamilton absolutely rode their centre back and as usual wins everything in the air. Dundee Utd might just prove a stretch too far but undoubtedly we’re the real deal this season. FAO Pars boys…please keep the wee team stuff going. Levels below us, honking home attendance. Bent over and tucked up good and proper tonight. Pleasing.
  3. We need to score three to make this a contest. Nobody’s fault it’s just one of those things but against the Pars live on TV isn’t ideal
  4. Tickets bought. If I’m gonna watch Rovers play in Annan, Abroath on a wet Wednesday and Inverness which I will be start of December then I’m not missing a derby in the Scottish cup. Really nervous about our defence and whilst not scoring the Pars are clearly creating opportunities. Hopefully we can put some delicious balls straight onto big Jack Hamiltons dome. Will take another Sam ‘SPL’ Stanton 1-0 however.
  5. 1000% internet nonsense. McPake… the guy Dundee horsed out the back door now has a say on their current transfer activity. Jesus wept.
  6. So fairly obvious with Byrne not being allowed to play (feckin shite Dundee) then Brown will fill that position with Corr and new guy coming in. Or one of them with Dick in the middle with McGill on the left. We’ll be more vulnerable this Friday at the back vs any other time this season. As I’ve said I’m seeing a goal fest. A case of who can outscore the other. Pars 2-3 Rovers, we like that scoreline.
  7. Is Murray still suspended? I seen a few Rovers players in the gym on Sunday inc Watson…wish I’d asked him when he’s back as I’m sure I’d get a more accurate update than 2 weeks which was about 2 months ago.
  8. The most underwhelming build up to a derby…ever Its all been said before - pricing, on TV and 6 games across the season. I’ve a feeling it’ll be a goal fest after only being 4 goals total across the three previous games. The pars lacklustre goal return has to change at some point and we look strong in the forward area. Fancy big Jack Hamilton to be in amongst it. There will be a late rally for tickets on Friday, I’m going and still not bought yet and think it’ll be the same for many. Can’t see it topping 5k which may look a tad embarrassing on the TV.
  9. Absolutely, we just need to try stick with them. The run we’ve been on needs commended as it’s a nightmare league to show consistency when everyone can beat each other. We've got goals throughout the team and I’m convinced with good service Hamilton will be lethal now fit.
  10. Unless Dundee have a run of injuries I can’t see them needing Byrne back. A bit like Ethan Ross for us - surplus to requirements based on performance levels of of current players in that position. We really do need Byrne and Stanton tied down. Ive a feeling next season will be the best chance for a few teams to get into the SPL for many a year. The chances are Utd will be replaced with either Livi or Ross County which will mean for me at least there would be very little across a few teams. Still hoping Dundee Utd go on some sort of poor run, maybe the Falkirk result will be the catalyst
  11. We’ve scored 7 in last two on the road and now have the ridiculous situation of Hamilton, Vaughan, Gullan and Smith all fighting for two spots. Fully expect IM to go with Hamilton with his 3 goals in 2, aerial ability at both ends of the pitch and just the standout striker in our squad. We’ll be makeshift to some extent at the back so intriguing as to how this goes.
  12. Watched the second half on a dodgy stream. Hot excrement can be used to describe that 45 minutes.
  13. Rovers win BTTS Falkirk V Utd BTTS no draw Thank you.
  14. We don’t, can’t help routinely pumping teams in it every year though. Can see you’ve put out a weak team though
  15. He didn’t jump. Was a simple header.
  16. Hamilton getting exactly what they deserve with ridiculous pricing - an embarrassing crowd. That Falkirk keeper, oh my. A straightforward catch - WTF
  17. Easily one of the best players in the league. Strong argument for being our best. The boy oozes class and is the interception king
  18. I’ll happy pay a premium to watch a game I want to see - Pars and Dundee Utd inc. Simple economics and supply / demand. I follow Raith home and away however £20 to watch a diddy cup game on a Friday night against league 1 opposition is a pass for me. A tenner and I’d have been there. The monetary amount isn’t the factor it’s the principle. A third rate tournament against a third tier team at an unsociable time should be priced accordingly. If a few quid on tickets and push on food / merchandise means we sign players like Easton, Hamilton, KD and can resign Stanton etc then I’m ALL FOR IT! Save a couple of quid and have Gonclaves, Willy Akio etc - no thank you.
  19. See Murray’s name is getting a lot more attention and banded about for the vacant County job. Hopefully he rejects it if they do approach and will be massively disappointed if he does following on from the Dundee situation in the summer. At least with Dundee it was an attractive proposition…County for me is stay above Livi and St Johnstone is as good as you could reasonably hope for. I’m obviously biased but we look good for too 4 currently and as strong a chance to get promoted for the first time in near 20 years. I’d say Murray and McCabe will feature as candidates for a lot of jobs going forward…young fresh managers highlighted for trying to play attractive football vs the usual old merry go round.
  20. When I look at the age and lack of quality of your back line it makes me think of 2 of our CB’s that departed us over last 18 months. Kyle Benedictus - left is season before last and dropped a division with Pars. Standout player for them and instrumental in them conceding so few goals on the way to the title. We missed him big style last year when Berra chucked it pre-season. Still their top boy in defence. Tom Lang - Dropped down to league 1 this summer with Falkirk and absolutely strolling it. Really made me think how bad is some of the scouting that players of that calibre were able to be picked up by league 1 teams and nobody came if for them in the Championship. In a different position you can add Brad Spencer to the list. Yes finances obviously play a part but by all accounts Benedictus is a grand a week and the pars offered a 2 year deal to our 1.
  21. This will only be the second game of the season I miss including all pre-season and cup games. We’ve had our fun in the challenge cup and a run of away games doesn’t help tempt interest for this even though I’m still buzzing from Saturday. Give Hannah a run out at LB, Dick & Masson CB with McGill on the right. 45 mins each for Stanton & Brown. Rest Vaughan & Smith and give Gullan and Hamilton 90 to get them back up to speed. Maybe 45 each for Connolly and Easton also. Always good to win a cup and Hamilton had that joy last season. Reality is however they would’ve swapped in to stay in the championship…Strongly fancied Falkirk for the league from the start and wouldn’t fancy any league 1 team vs second bottom of the championship as it’s only Morton so far who look lesser than all other teams.
  22. Aye but they’ve got what looks like a better squad this season in the lower tier.
  23. Wish Livi were in the Championship this season and not DU. They look atrocious.
