  1. Was introduced to the Irish radio channel RTEGOLD whilst on holiday some time ago. Its now my default source of music when im around me casa & have it as an online favourite. For my age group, its far superior to any accessible radio station within the uk.
  2. Whilst not permissible in court, why don't the McCanns and their "fun friends" who were present on the holiday all do independently scrutinised polygraph tests to dismiss all the conspiracy theorists once and for all ?? This would also clear up the conflicting accounts given of the timelines and whereabouts of each of them from the morning of the 03 May 2007 till the early hours of the following morning. The cadaver dogs have unearthed something tangible and sinister.
  3. Still make me chuckle :. "Well, fu*k me wi' a ragman's trumpet " - those of a certain age will understand the sentiment "Canny park there, chief" Modern or young-gun speak is crud !!!!
  4. Bearing in mind the culprit was a flasher, the ladies of the parish were obviously pretty observant judging by the description given !!! http://www.dunfermlinepress.com/news/14805854.Appeal_for_witnesses_after_man_exposes_himself_in_Dunfermline/
  5. Dory Previn - Mythical Kings And Iguanas Leonard Cohen - Best Of (1974 edition) Paul Simon - Graceland Big Country - The Crossing Queen - Queen (1st Album)
  6. I was on Methotrexate a few years back to combat my chronic psoriasis after id used a number of topical creams, ointments, etc, over a long number of years.. Stuff made me worse as it had little or no effect on my condition & made me feel absolutely hellish most of the time. I was taken off it after about 6 months. Ive also had Cyclosporin which had no real effect. Ive been on Adalimumab (Humira) for about 4 1/2 years now &, although my skin is around 80% clear most of the time, it knocks 20 shades of shite out of my stomach regularly which restricts my social life & general wellbeing. Like most modern drugs, they help/affect everybody differently & they all have their own degrees of side-effects that, again, affect everybody differently.
  7. "Graceland" by Paul Simon Verse 2 is "The way she brushed her hair from her forehead " comes over as "The way she brushed her hair AND FARTED"
  8. I believe that should be "hicktowns". The Clackmannanshire Tourist Board
  9. The only downside for me with the bridge re-opening is that i won't get to see the magnificent Kelpies in all their lit-up glory going to & coming home from work. Id seen them loads but not in darkness when they were illuminated. Fantastic.
  10. This vain & "hard man" attempt to be at the world top table is cameron's way of leaving his legacy for english historians. It aint gonna end well in London methinks
  11. The company can do it themselves and, providing the circumstances are similar to those described & the cost is around the £50 mark, they can claim it as a "trivial benefit" & not pay tax on it. As to asking for contributions, would it not lie with the individuals as to whether or not they wanted to contribute ?? Just an opinion..
  12. For the more mature movers & groovers
  13. German when in Spain or Balaerics although i was grossly insulted in Menorca many years ago when a wee wummin referred to me as "the beeg Eenglish". The German mistake i can handle . . . . . . .
  14. For the more mature student . . . . . . . //www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zzwbYyvWiU Et Maintenant ??
  15. Ladies & Gentlemen of the jury, the evidence is compelling against that pr*ck Lee Nelson. He's just not funny & the cockney geeza shit is stolen & plagiarised from Charlie Drake (for the senior members chez nous)
  16. Commensurate with my vintage, i'm the proud owner of a cracking pair of Sambas with a pair of puma squash 2000 for scruffing about in. When they're done they will be replaced by something equivalent wi nane of this multi coloured luminous young guns pish anywhere to be seen.
  17. One of his best for me musically https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mp6fKjYn7m0
  18. The multi-coloured circus clowns marching through the various streets were "policed" by their own in-house trained assistants who were sporting bright orange bibs each proudly declaring them to be a "LODGE STEWARD", which just happens to be an anagram of ODD LEG WASTER. Or maybe, like sectarianism in Scotland, this is just "a myth". Let the hordes of troglodytes march through & wreck Edinburgh on the Saturday before the vote as it will sway many of the "don't know" voters into voting a resounding "YES" when they see what these sub-humans bring to the political table. Vote YES & get these marches (and equally those supporting Republican causes) off our streets for good.

  20. Super Bock from Portugal 5.2% Its the business Ive only really seen it in Makro
  21. I fully accept your views & bow to your superior historical knowledge, Whilst i agree that there is likely to be an uber-nationalistic approach to the marking of the 1314 battle, it will be done so in Scotland alone. It may turn out to be used as a crass propaganda weapon or as a means of displaying "Scottishness" by some, but it will be confined to this country alone. It will not be "celebrated" in Northern Ireland or anywhere else for that matter. I believe that the point i have been trying to get through to my "naranja" friend is that i see no need for another country to co-celebrate events that are wholly relevant in Scotland and nowhere else. The age old "traditions" spouted about annually to justify the "marching" are done so through less than tenuous historical outdated (in 2013 ??) connections. As i have previously stated, in my opinion, "it is a vulgar display of "rangers-ism". Im going to write to the Mayor of Pamplona to see if Scotland can twin with them & we can have our own "bull run" through certain areas of Glasgow & beyond next year during the "marching" season (canny wait for the Youtube videos). Using the core arguments for justification, i'm sure you will have no problem with this as we are merely embracing the cultural celebrations of our brethern. The similar tenuous connections here are that i, and many others in Scotland, drink San Miguel despite the fact that there are many other credible Scottish alternatives. Vienen de los toros
