I've heard this mentioned before about Hearts & in all honesty I don't know enough about what happened back then but if that was the case they should have started at the bottom.......which is the point (which you agree with) I was making of Rangers.

Just a pity it wasn't Bob Geldoff that was rodgered by that rhino.....what a week that would have made!

Fraud may well have been committed by Whyte at Rangers but as the legal owner of Rangers he did this (if proven) on the Club behalf........just like Romanov/Robinson did in running up huge debts at Hearts which eventually lead to our Administration.

I have no interest in the whole "tainted/stripping of titles" argument but Rangers were liquidated and the SPL & the SFA desperately tried to parachute the Newco straight into the top & 2nd tier of Scottish football........they'd have only done this for one other Club, which would have been just as wrong. If my Club had been liquidated in the Summer (as it very possibly could have been).......I would have gratefully accepted following my new reformed Club in the EoS league had our application been accepted.

I don't get the whole "Club being the victim" shit either.....my Club Hearts are where they deserve to be (the Championship) after previous Chairmen & Directors acting on the Clubs behalf financially mismanaged the Club. If you start looking to blame individuals instead of collective responsibility then I propose we replay the 1996 Scottish Cup Final as Hearts were the victim of Giles Rousett's horrendous goalkeeping!
