There's a supermarket up the road from me that has a bar in it. You can get (draught) beer or wine then walk round the shop with it. I've not yet done this but it's a pretty ace idea.

Aye it would cost - more stewards. And that sounds dodgy as hell, that lady anecdote. I think that the stewards must have screwed up there coz that's not on.

Dundee is a good example, by the way. Their main stand is rubbish. But I don't rage at them because of it. (I was more raging at Morton fans for not taking enough fans to get us behind the east goal, tbqh.)

If everyone who said they stayed away did so we'd barely have an away gate all season. GMFC is going to upgrade away facilities eventually but you can understand why it's not a priority. I'd be amazed if stay-aways amounted to more than 2k of income a season, probably a lot less.

Safety concerns should be paramount. The main stand is fully safe and documented as such, so that's covered. Beyond that, I think the club is acting as it should here: aiming to upgrade in the medium term but not treating it as a priority.
