When things aren’t going well, the work rate of Hayes will always stand out but the attacking abilities of those 3 aren’t of the level required.

Funny how people see things differently. I thought Kennedy was poor on the ball. He plays with his head down far too much and it’s like he decides what he’s doing to do them just does it regardless of what happens in that time. To be fair to him, once he realises he’s not beating his man he does now more often look up and pass inside or backwards to a team mate. Have to disagree Andy mate. Gala created the guilt edge chances. Before half time they should have scored and it was eventually cleared off the line. Missed a sitter towards end of the game as well. In general play, there wasn’t a lot in it and it was the first game Cowden have been able to play abit and not just chase shadows for long spells as the sides were more even than previous games.

1 of kennedys problems is that he has always played with his head down. The way some were drooling over his displays against part timers from L2 dismayed me. Most of the time he’s just not good enough.
