Yeah I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect some improvement and climb the league abit before the season ends. To be honest the 3 week break from games would have given them a chance to work on alot of things as they trained Saturdays as well which you would hope would help to get some results. Been reading all the comments on here. Personally I feel it’s unfair to judge Ross so quickly. I know there’s no patience in football etc. but who is going to sign an entire new squad and get it right? Realistically he must need 2/3 years to have a fair chance. He’s also going to need to get lucky with some signings. I do agree though that the results have been poor overall so far. With the way the LL is, the season is virtually over for Cowden so maybe they can play pressure free and develop throughout the season.

B teams may just help the national team after all. Any decent young players with potential are going to play a few months in the LL and think f**k this I’m off to England or wherever. They get away from the bigots and get a far better development and in years to come Scotland national team benefits.

Cowden had a poor start, then got a couple of wins and realistically look to have too much to worry about a relegation fight. 19 team league (which in itself is absurd) means league season over in September/ October. The complete opposite of the SPFL leagues. The current LL set up is abysmal. The only plan to attract more fans and interest into the league seems to be get the B teams in. Says it all really.

Ramirez looked good when he came on. Seems to have a fresh attitude again and did a lot of good things in possession. Thistle got their goal from the Achilles heel, corners. It gave them confidence and they had a spell. The team rode that spell out well enough and the tide had turned again well before the goal as Aberdeen gradually regained control of the game and thistle became less dangerous. The game was over before Duncan’s goal but that was the Cherry on the top of an overall good night for the dandies. Now please can we sort out the away form!

Fair play to the thistle fans, gave great backing for the majority of the evening. Aberdeen were miles better though. Duk was absolutely fantastic. Won almost every header, worked hard off the ball, even as far back as his own byline to win a goal kick, and then has that extra bit of power and quality in attack.

Arguably best performance of the season last week. Definitely worst performance of the season this week. main change in personal? McCrorie in midfield instead of defence. Now I am not saying that is the sole reason for this humiliation, far from it as almost everyone was garbage, but it’s a factor. He’s never a midfielder and the arse licking he gets from so many dandies due to his running power and attitude is infuriating at times. The boy can’t pass water. Ramadani isn’t even a particularly top level passer of the ball, so that leaves so little creativity in the team. And Vinny just isn’t good enough in open play for this level, despite a few tap in goals blurring peoples opinions of him. Jury massively out on Goodwin. Today is an absolute horror show of a result.

Aberdeen fans will do it properly, the away end will be very noisy and well lubricated. Optimism will be falsely raised due to said lubrucation, as in reality the away form has been horrendous this year.
