  1. Only a small percentage of people can carry off tattoos. The vast majority look ridiculous particularly peely wally, overweight British people, looks terrible now and will look even worse when you get older.
  2. Kacey Musgraves from Same Trailer, Different Park and also her excellent new album Golden Hour. A great introduction to new country music.
  3. Bought Roger Waters tickets yesterday for his Hydro show on 29th June 18 on pre sale, courtesy of SSE supplying my gas! Always wanted to see a Pink Floyd and this is the next best thing. Love his solo stuff especially his latest "Is this the life we really wanted" and particularly the Floyd albums he wrote which are effectively solo albums ... The Wall and Final Cut. On genersl sale from 9am 2mrw.
  4. The sound was Ok at the start, a bit echoey as if it was bouncing of the stadium. As it went on it improved and I never thought much about it again.... but I'm blinkered:-) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  5. An absolutely tremendous gig, surely the best live act in the world.. ever:-) . I've been lucky enough to see Bruce 9 times prior to Tuesdays concert and each and every time I've felt the same - that I've just witnessed the best rock band at their peak. The first time was at Newcastle on the BITUSA tour and I can remember the newspaper the next day claiming it to be 'the greatest show on earth'. At the time I had only heard a handful of albums and came away agreeing and completely hooked. I was also pissed off that I had only cottoned on to him near (what I thought at the time) was the end of his career! How wrong was I. My dream is to somehow see him play in NYC but to be honest I'll just be happy to see him again. He opened up Coventry with a solo acoustic version of The ghost of Tom Joad and then played Two Hearts.. Seeds, all of Born to Run album in memory of James Galdofini who died earlier today. Completely great sounding set list.. But hey they all are. Still on a high after seeing the Glasgow show. . Sent from my GT-I9300 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  6. On bus home to get in zone and then head to Hampden for a 7.15 start. I would love it too be The River played in its entirety but not sure he'll do that. Heard a bootleg from states where he did it and it was awesome. My guess is BTR but he may surprise us all and do TWTWATESS (2nd album!) or just do requests! That's the beauty of Bruce shows... constantly changing and never 2 the same. Regardless it will be 'the greatest show on the earth' by some distance. Enjoy :-) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  7. This will be my 9th Springsteen, gig since 1985 (Born on the USA tour at Newcastle). But never seen before the E Street Band in Glasgow - last time at Hampden was the Glasgow fair hols, I was in Italy. A true superstar.
  8. Has no one pulled out yet? Fnarr. Listened to BBC Sportsound earlier and wee chic was getting frantic at the thought of his beloved team folding, he should be put on suicide watch. It was most enjoyable.
  9. So another day on the pantomime that is Admin Rangers style. What will today bring; more mud slinging via statements to the press, further "discussions" at MP, Bartley with new specs making him look even more like a thick twat, etc.....predictions? For me we'll see more posturing from Murray (not the evil one) about saving the club from the brink. Chick will herald this as a historic momentonly for it to be later confirmed that he's skint too and has no mates.

  11. Just heard that Bartley's back at MP!!!? WTF - maybe he just didn't understand what they told him or he's forgot his ipod and nicked back to pick it up. What a numpty.
  12. Pleasing, very pleasing. I have a wish list, Naismith, McGregor, Davies and Aluko. That would be funny as feck.
  13. Not good, will need to delay Liquidation Friday party I had planned....popcorn will keep a few more days. I demand an inquiry (yes another one) into these administrators...they need to grow a pair and make some savings. The creditors demand it!
  14. I fear that there will be no cull today as the news of the lawyers siezing this £3m will allow haudit and daudit to avoid doing their job. But I'm still hopeful of mass redundancies, lots of pain and gnashing of teeth from our knuckle dragging govanites.
  15. I do think the trebles still a possibility...thatcher, Ian Paisley and the closure of the "big hoose".
  16. Ali Russell and Gordon Smith now on the dole. Hope to tossed don't hear Smith back on radio Scotland.
