This afternoon was certainly cack - but let me assure all you QOS fans - compared to Pars v Accies last weekend, this afternoon's entertainment was like an El Clasico.
I don't mean to state the obvious, but pretty much every set of fans in the country are "desp for
achievement efter years in the doldrums". I could probably exclude St Johnstone followers here.
Yes - I thought it was as good a 0-0 as I have seen for some time. The Pars' back 4 looked (mostly) solid, Dorrance came onto a game (after a poor first-half) and Kennedy always looked like he may create something.
Todorov and Wighton each missed good opportunities - but I suppose if they were quality enough to put those types of chances away every time, they would both probably still be at Tynecastle.
A definite improvement on the Somerset Shit-Fest.
Good to encounter a fellow-wanderer. I have ticked off all the Scottish grounds some time ago, with about half-a-dozen left of the English ones.
Here was my Turf Moor visit, which you may (or may not) find of interest:

You could park just off London Road. It is a pleasant walk from there, and you can generally find a friendly local willing to look after your car for you.
Well, i am with you on that. The point I was sorta making, is: We are not gonna win this thing, so lets have some fun.
A bold 4-4-2 was required this afternoon.
Anyone shocked at the size of crowd announced? 9,800 or something similar.
Which meant the place was a good 2,000 shy of what we were told was the max allowed.
I had work colleagues who had their tickets pinched back off them by Uefa.
C'mom folks - we are a third rate side, who just lost to a second rate one. Just imagine how crap this afternoon would have been, sitting in Hampden watching Serbia v Czech Rep. Just enjoy being at the party, however briefly.
