There shouldn't be any need to prioritise rovers tickets IMO. You guys should demand the 10000 tickets. Tell them you'll send any back a couple weeks before the final.

It says something when you can win a derby that almost seals a title win in front of a sell out crowd and the pre-match mascot routine is one of the things that stands out.

Did dunfermlines mascot not sledge down the stand once? :lol
He did indeed, in honour of somebody getting a medal at the winter olympics.
Other highlights include him cycling round the pitch on a kids bike before falling off.

The ayr fan right behind him. absolutely certain it's in and even once it's clear he still is half celebrating whilst trying to work out how the f**k it was stopped.

Cheers yoss, the 2nd one is my favourite but the 3 work well together.
Cover makes more sense, take it your next one down from laidlaw is really young then?

I believe that is correct.Hi, just wanted to confirm the Pars saved their club while the blue bigots sat on their fat arses and watched their club die?

I doubt if rovers fan has it but if the pic of him crying after being sent off in the derby can be posted that would be brilliant. It's one of my favourite football pics.Good old Steven Simmonds..
On fife football friends territory surprised you guys have felt the need to bring in gk cover, laidlaw looked good enough to cover and I think it would be worth the risk chucking a youth goalie on the bench

Yeah, they still have a fair group who aren't online as often as all us losers and won't have had the constant bombardment on the OS, Facebook and emails.
Certainly, with no home game since the launch I think there will be a few that haven't heard about it, or at least not in detail, a couple of announcements tommorow could well aid it along next week.
Also good luck to mercer, hopefully he gets good game time, playing 1st team football will be more beneficial to him than u20s games, it also allows someone younger to get the be pushed on by playing an age group up. Didn't realise he was 18 tho, thought he was older.

Nice bit of PR from the club. Good to see this though, sounds like they made the wee boy's (and the Dad's!) day.
It's important that little things such as this are done, fans are not easy to get but if you can have small victories it sure mounts up.
No way did our massive jump in support in leishmans 1st time as manager occur through one big push for fans, it's all about getting one at a time.

Fair enough for scheduling, but it seems the spfl are determined to f**k about with my Xmas football plans.
We were going to have a guys day at the rangers match but that being shifted means we can no longer go to that, so we made the decision to pencil in going to arbroath but my dad won't be back from holiday for the game now. Better not move the stenny game now. My brother in law will have gone home by then anyway tho.

Does the guy who assaulted the taxi driver still play for you lot?
Wouldn't exactly call it an assault.

Probably take him as long as we can easily sack him without paying any money out if he behaves too much like a fanny.
Theres a very talented player in there somewhere but has hidden it very well over the past few years. We need to be careful not to get all the problems and none of the ability.
ETA: I don't think he will play for nothing either.

The Dunfermline Press is the source. No idea if they are experienced, it was a game between Dunfermline featuring trialists and the Nike Academy. I would prefer if we signed a steady and experienced centre half to compliment Morris as we badly need one to shore up the defence. However if we can't pick one up in January then a similar Morris gem would be ideal.
Had a read of the article, it seems they are nike academy players. Fair enough if we get another whittle or morris but in our current position I would prefer if possible a typical journeyman if I'm being honest, I don't expect us to turn down a talented player just because he isn't experienced tho.

Been a while since one of your rants...
On the away fans point, I agree to an extent, we can't really expect much more than the amount that have turned up so far. But it is frustrating when so few people are in the away end.
On the young team point you are completely wrong. Experienced players? Geggan probably counts but that's it barring potter and dargo. Yes we aren't the first team to do so, and no they aren't the youngest side ever, but they are young, and they don't have the 2-3 older players to help them that the likes of Falkirk and Hamilton put out.
