  1. Can anyone see Kane leaving in January? He's part time, not a big player within the first team squad now and he got sent off tonight for the 2nd game running for the U20s. I'm sure if JJ and Kane can come to a mutual agreement to terminate his contract then I think it'll happen as his wages can help get a more experienced player in, who's readily available to step in when required. I'm not wanting Kane to leave, and I hope he proves me wrong and turns into a big player for us as the season goes on, but I just can't see it :(

P.S the U20's lost 2-1 away to Partick Thistle.

I think It can go either way , he certainly needs to sort his discipline, he had a reputation as a walking yellow card but instead of improving that this season it seems to have got worse. I think he has enough talent but with him being part-time and his ill-discipline isn't working for him at the moment.

I'm terms of releasing his wages I'm not sure he will be on much now, I doubt he would have been earning much before and I would expect that to have been reduced a fair bit with him going part-time, they should have done anywhere.

I would expect him to be in full-time during his uni holidays which will most likely when the decision will be made, it will be a big period for him. He still needs to pick up his performances in the mean time tho.

  2. No it's not, I remember a player in the epl ( can't remember who) saying they were at training for eight and not home till about three. If what people are saying is we train 4 days aweek for 2 hours is acceptable then McIntyre needs to be sacked. We must pay our players at least 2/3 times what the part timers in the league are getting yet only do double the training. Just no point being full time then and paying half these idiots the money there on, that clearly don't give a fcuk about our club.

Doubt you train much different to most ft teams. Remember EPL sides will have there own gyms etc where the players will do a couple of hours rather than going after training like your players likely do. On top of that they will have far more extensive periods with sport science people than clubs at this level can afford.
