DRS is no recycling panacea. I'm quite surprised by the zealot like support it ilicits from some.

I've always wondered how people without cars or computers got the full bottles home, if they are unable to return the empties.?
You be obtuse. The increase in inconvenience to those without a vehicle and currently able to recycle at home should be obvious.

There is no doubt that kerbside recycling could be improved. I'm surprised that hasn't been looked at. Will Slater be picking this up?
Humphing all your glass to the corner shop to get your 20p back and them storing it through the back because they don't have reverse vending machines was always a recipe for disaster. For those who shop online and those without cars it was never really explained how DRS would work for them. Other than Circularity Scotland retaining their unredeemed deposits.

I'm sure all the folk that live in flats definitely drive and take all their glass to the recycling centre
DRS won't solve that.

Removing glass makes it completely pointless.
Except it doesn't. See Norway.

I heard that there were some of the classics for the fans:
"I cannot recall"
"To the best of my knowledge, it was X years ago"
Both featured. Dedication to one's craft has to be admired.

Reading is really following the Houston trajectory (but a season behind). He's getting worse with each season. Its time to cut our losses.
Farm him out on loan and bring someone else in. If part a of that can't happen it speaks volumes for how he is playing.

The guys I've spoken to said he was played out of position (I think they said full back) but that he did look very poor and well out of his depth.
I must admit, I wasn't one of the ones going overboard about him, he DID have a great shot on him but I always felt that he was just too slow and we failed to control any games when he played at Centre Mid so I honestly couldn't see what all the fuss was about.
It's not often we agree but I'm with you with this one!

Turnout will be the problem for the SNP, it won't be votes haemorrhaging to Labour. There may be a soft swing but no more than that. If Labour offered a bolder vision and shifted on even being able to have a referendum, they might see more support.
The independence movement is in a holding pattern just now. Effectively there is nothing that can be done whilst there in the level of intransigence in Westminster. It's hard to move the needle on that.
In a lot of ways you would expect the SNP to be doing better especially with a right wing Tory government in Westminster and Brexit. That being said, they have been in government for 15 years and its been getting a bit patchy.
Next years election will be interesting. I do expect the SNP to get a bloody nose but they will comfortably be the biggest party imo.

They did say that surveys revealed unforeseen issues, so maybe there are stability problems that necessitate a piece by piece approach.
Aye, that and they are maybe trying to recycle as much as possible. Which necessitates a slower destruct tbf. The steel can be re-used, I hadn't even appreciated the hospitality had a steel frame! I don't think it was the glorified portakabin, despite looking like one.

Attempting to sign a 33 year old and two 34 year olds to play up front this season.
Mathies end of season accomplishment round up is going to be some reading next season.
It's almost as bad as when Uncle Ian joked about us signing Boyd. Some of our fans were salivating over a geriatric attack of Boyd & Doolan.

TBH it's not as glamorous as it sounds. You see a lot of weird stuff that your eyes can't unsee.
That does sound like the post Musk twitter I've read about.

In fairness that's exactly how we found out about Jamie Murphy. Don't think there was any murmurs about it until both his parents started following the club.
I'm just jealous that I can't do it.

Aye, Humza did the right thing by that protester. By all means criticise those party members booing her but Humza handled it very well.
He might make a good FM yet.

He wasn’t a defensive midfielder and I don’t think I could say he was dirty either. But aye he played for us.
He's dirty now though after playing for the great unwashed.

Silly rumours really , Bullen is Smiths man until such time he no longer wants to be Smiths man .
Just like Hopkin was Smith's man. Football is a results driven business. If we're struggling after the first quarter he'll be shown the door.
I'm not saying we will struggle (it's far too early to tell).
