Surely, the Republicans will dump Trump (mentally unstable and a despot) and the Democrats will dump Biden (too old to the point where he is now a puppet). They cannot be the best America has to offer. I honestly despair.
Admittedly, it gives me some solace knowing that America is fucked whereas we are only partially fucked!

I wasn't even singing in the hub after we got beat 8-0. I'm a total fraud.
I find that hard to believe, you were conducting proceedings!

Your money your choice but until we get around 4,000 season ticket holders we’ll always be trying to punch above our weight .
You're right, it is my money. I donate to the AU 500 Fund, that's the charity part. The season ticket is for the entertainment and the product on the pitch. I don't just renew it out of blind faith, as a reference point - I last didn't renew when we decided to retain Roberts. It's infinitely likely that I will renew but I am concerned with the style of play.
Its eye bleedingly bad most of the time. You'll never get 4,000 season tickets launching it to a big man up front. I know some people find this hard to believe but our tactics are identical to what they were under Hopkin. The difference in results is Akinyemi.

Left back still needs dealt with. I actually haven't renewed my season ticket as two matters concern me:
1) style of play
2) the fucking left back
I'll take a view through the league cup but I may be joining the pay at gate brigade this season.

The other thing to remember is that we conduct the vast majority of our business outwith the papers and usually there are no leaks. I'm not convinced either of these moves were mission critical or at all likely. I'd be surprised if the club took a different view. We'll have been working on other targets concurrently.

Recruitment clearly all gone to shit this summer, we've gotten worse this summer on paper rather than strengthening.
It's hard to argue with this but we haven't finished our business yet. We're not at the stage of the manager fucking off on holiday for three weeks and nothing happening. That's where shit is on my scale. I'll give them another week to sort it out.

Ironically, the fact that we're having so much trouble finding a striker and that even the guys on here are struggling to think of anyone just confirms the reality of Dipo's REAL value, given that he's a proven goalscorer but also with so much more to his game from build up play, assists and even excellent defensive work in his own box, as such it should be clear that anything under £200k in the current climate is nothing more than a joke.....
The club should hold firm. Dipo is under contract. We have a valuation and it needs to be met. That's not unreasonable, any suitors need to stop trying to sign him on the cheap. Much as we've just been make weights in a couple of deals it would be good to get Dundee United or someone to bid as it would spark a response from down south.

Careful lads, this'll be getting added to the hundreds of DISGUSTANG posts that some nutter was compiling for a newspaper sting on Div and his fascist P&B regime.

The sooner the Dipo situation is resolved the better. Its an unwanted distraction just now. I try not to over-analyse social media but you don't need to do much analysing with the recent ones. Hopefully, it's resolved for both parties, we get a decent fee and sell on percentage and Dipo moves closer to home.

Was it Ruddy's brother that starting asking folk for fights via twitter if they criticised Jack Ruddy's many many mistakes?
Aye, it was. We seemed to have a thing with goalies having gobby family that season. Did Avci's sister no moan as well?
8 minutes ago, Nelson said:Ruddy was terrible and had an attitude problem. The goal he conceded at East Fife finished him at Ayr - didn’t feature again after that. Never seen anything quite like it. It’ll be on YouTube I’m sure.
Aye, I just remember him making no attempt to save it and even laughing afterwards (I maybe made the last bit up). At the time, some more generous folk than me at the game reckoned the ball had swerved unkindly for him. I'm sure when I watched it back on the replay that he just didn't bother his arse. His attitude was stinking.

Hart was making errors, there is no doubt.
However, Ruddy was just as bad - I can remember Ruddy's errors. At home to Alloa he kicked the ball out to Ross Stewart who was out wide ran in on goal he hit a relatively weak shot and Ruddy slipped (twice?) and the ball trundled over the line. Away to East Fife, he chucked the ball into the net. He made no attempt to save it. That might of been when he got hooked and Hart got put back in.
Hart was a year older than Ruddy. There is a reason that Hart no longer plays the game and Ruddy is at Cowdenbeath. Its because they are dreadful.

The Alex Williams derby goal is up there as well.
He scored two belters away to Raith in the same game as well if I remember correctly. We had Prunty, Williams & Roberts at once stage. A wealth of riches up front for that level!

Best moment - helicopter Saturday at Somerset in 2017/18. Absolutely surreal. Thinking we had fucked it at Alloa only to win it at Somerset. It was quite something and it was supporting Ayr United personified. We don't like making things easy for ourselves!

David Dunn was so bad that Brian Reid played Jerome Vareille out on the wing instead of him.
The same Jerome Vareille who famously had no pace and couldn't run.
I quite liked Varielle. He was in a dreadful team.

He was absolutely torture, but I think he maybe wasn’t quite as shite as the others - I have very limited memory if those seasons now though, thankfully!
My overriding memory of Kyle is jumping up for the ball, falling over and claiming a foul. That's literally all he did in his time at Ayr.

Okay, I live in a non-council flat in Edinburgh that does have recycling bins. The only confusion was with your incorrect statement that I initially replied to.
Aye, I thought he'd found a way to avoid paying council tax for a minute there. Off grid living or something?

Taking my glass to a shop is much more accessible than two busses out to Polmadie which I obviously do not do at present.
Not great for the shop though who have to store your glass and then lose money for handling it. That's what DRS would have meant for the shop. That's precisely what the recent court case was about with shops being unable to recover their actual costs.
