people not being late, been sitting waiting on my lift for 30 mins now does mean I've been able to watch an episode of south park while waiting though, so It's not disasterous

i know that trains travelling between certain times (usually 11-7 if it's at 3) when there's Scotland games on at Murrayfield are dry trains. I'd assume the same between the old firm playing in Edinburgh etc

was always good for a laugh although you would be sick quite early into the afternoon, the dreaded combinations were things like Kamara talking (you're drinking) about a Michael Owen injury which was 2 fingers of spirits (or something like that) and a red card... that never ended well. The reduced rules at least give you a chance of making it till half time

i noticed that a lot of the rules seem to have been removed from it (on the facebook one anyway) it's now "only" 21 rules, a few years ago it covered about 3/4 a4 pages with obscure rules about say Dundee or the "good doctor"

Glasgow Uni socialists are without doubt the most annoying people on earth, they have no idea what debate is ie they just tell your their own crackpot ideas then if you dare to try and answer back at them they just get louder and coming up longer and more complex arguments until you eventually give up. When they occupied the computing building over some Palestine issue they said that GU should give scholarships to Palestinian students and refuse entry to Israeli ones. I pointed out that is affirmative action and actually slightly illegal and also fascist, which kinda goes against everything they stand for. Their response to this...... no intellectual argument or points, no reasoning at all.... gather round me and say i was a war criminal and write about me on their facebook page (i believe infidel was the term used) I agree that cutting courses and staff is wrong but i just don't wanna associate myself in any way to their wee "club" Apart from them Glasgow is a good uni to be at, word of warning if you're wanting to do a science degree just don't expect any work to be handed back on any short timescale

a letter came for me that was recorded delivery but it was just put through my letterbox... don't quite know if thats a PTTGOYN because it wasn't properly delivered to me or RTBC as i got 3 hours more sleep probably the latter

seen The Fighter today, never thought that much of Mark Wahlberg in previous films but he's pretty damn good in this, Christain Bale plays his older brother which was a bit odd as he's 2 years younger than Wahlberg but somehow it works out basically a typical underdog boxing story with a boy meets girl, family doesn't like girl storyline actually very well put together and although a bit predictable, a good all round film 7.5/10
