  1. yeah, i was watching something on iplayer now the whole site seems to be down
  2. anyone been to the highland wildlife park near Kingussie? if so, is it any good?
  3. only one i've seen was unknown and i'd recommend seeing that, i've heard quite a lot of shit reviews about battle: LA though
  4. got to say i thought daybreakers was absolutely terrible, i only went to see it because i could get in on someone elses orange wednesday and get a student ticket yet still felt ripped off somehow 2/10 as the graphics weren't that bad
  5. baseball will be on during the summer, Florida Marlins (miami) or Tampa Bay are the teams you could watch at major league level. (probably minor league teams but i don't know much about that) Went to see the Red Sox a couple of years ago and was about 15 quid for tickets and for the marlins at least should be no bother at all to get. "Football" and basketball tend to be played during the winter, and i don't know about NHL but i'm sure it's a winter sport as well
  6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_hour explains it well enough
  7. number of moles = mass used divided by molecular mass (periodic table for that)
  8. Catfish having been heavily advertised on lovefilm i was eventually tempted enough to get it sent out, first of all its clearly not completely a documentary which it claims. Things just don't add up either even towards the end, i'm not saying the whole entire film was faked but it seems a bit convenient that everything just happened whilst they were being filmed. basically it's the story of a photographer who finds about an 8 year old girl who is painting his pictures, starts talking to her family and such and starts some weird online long distance relationship with her sister. Turns out to be the typical boy meets girl, boy likes girl don't know how to rate it, in saying all the negative stuff about it, its still quite interesting to see what happens next. But it just seems all a bit suspect.. somewhere between 3-6 out of 10
  9. 1. old firm pish -1 girl in particular posted 21 updates on Sunday about the old firm game, with most of them being absolute shite like "yassss" and "wooo" 2. "grrr soo angry"- clearly attention seeking 3. people who update their status every hour with comments like "Im making my own sweetchilli prawn noodle stir fry i hope its tastyyy!" "well that was a let down" nobody cares! 4. people who upload an album of them out every single week, 5. people who post lyrics to songs, just no need for it
  10. went and saw it last night, it has Liam Neeson in it nuff said: 8/10
  11. looks like it's going to cancel the game today, and i'm going to have to drive in it to work tomorrow
  12. the team i was in had been winning pretty easily the whole game, then we went properly shit and i dont think we scored at all in that last 10 minutes (il admit to a few missed chances myself ) although it doesn't sound like much of a loss it was pretty annoying to be involved in it
  13. letting a 4 goal lead slip at 5s to lose with about 10 minutes to go
  14. was gonna post something similar to this, to make it ever so slightly more annoying (as i used to like that song) "just can't get enough" will be quoted several hundred times FTOF
  15. finished a report for uni, went to print it out then discovered there's no ink left
  16. people not being late, been sitting waiting on my lift for 30 mins now does mean I've been able to watch an episode of south park while waiting though, so It's not disasterous
  17. i know that trains travelling between certain times (usually 11-7 if it's at 3) when there's Scotland games on at Murrayfield are dry trains. I'd assume the same between the old firm playing in Edinburgh etc
  18. was always good for a laugh although you would be sick quite early into the afternoon, the dreaded combinations were things like Kamara talking (you're drinking) about a Michael Owen injury which was 2 fingers of spirits (or something like that) and a red card... that never ended well. The reduced rules at least give you a chance of making it till half time
  19. i noticed that a lot of the rules seem to have been removed from it (on the facebook one anyway) it's now "only" 21 rules, a few years ago it covered about 3/4 a4 pages with obscure rules about say Dundee or the "good doctor"
  20. you've never heard of the "jeff stelling soccer saturday drinking game?!?" EDIT: beaten to it i see there's also one of my favourites Emile Heskey
