X-Men: First Class cracking film, McAvoy (Prof X) Fassbender (Magneto) and Kevin Bacon (Sebastian Shaw) are absolutely fantastic in their roles, perhaps even more so when they were trying to play parts originally done by Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen yet really pull it off and make the characters feel their own. Plot-wise there isn't too much to say as it is fairly obvious what happens, (incase you really didn't want to know) but yet the film still remains gripping, my favourite x-men film so far and i enjoyed the first 3 quite a bit.. 9/10

It's undoubtedly a good film but the whole mermaid thing annoyed me so much 1. why do the have vampire teeth? 2. why does the mermaid change from a tail to legs? Agree that there's some funny parts thrown as per and although the film is a tad too long it's in no way dull or boring. Big downside about the whole experience was the 3D, maybe it was just where i was sitting but it was nearly non-existent for the entire film still it's an enjoyable film 6/10 (just for the 3d being shit)

the news feed is littered with horoscopes today, i don't know if more people i know signed up or facebooks just displaying them all instead hiding most of them also on a slightly odd note Lichtieforlife and myself have one mutual friend, talk about a small world ..

People who update on nights out "viper mondays? growing on me xx" at about midnight "pulled a muscle on the floor! only thing I'm pulling tonight xxx" about 1ish "right so eh foots no broken, just bruised! eurgh, men!! just men xxx" not long after "hmm papped by the photographer in not my finest moment! oooops" and then to round it off nicely.. "first whitey of the day, really not looking forward to driving home from southside!!" I don't know what's worse the fact that all these were posted, or that each has likes and comments as if other people care. No doubt the photo album will be uploaded soon so everyone may share the wonderous time that was had

i'm in the same boat though as a biochemist, uni sadly hasn't turned out the way i had hoped though i'm now finished my 3rd, and now final, year. everything was fine up until this year when i suddenly realised i'd made a huge error in what i wanted to do and i've thought about dropping out a few times although i thought i might as well finish what i've started. It's the feeling that i've wasted 3 years and the money i could have earned in this time has been lost that annoys me most
