One thing that was pretty clear during Ketts time with us was his complete lack of imagination when it came to signing players and that seems to be the case here. However, he did sign Ross Stewart who barely kicked a ball for St Mirren and he turned out alright so your never know with Bair.

In terms of our chances of progressing, this is probably the best draw we could’ve got, having made an arse of being one of the seeded teams yesterday. Still a difficult game nonetheless.

Pleased that we’ve topped the group. A tad concerning the manner in which we’ve threw away a two goal lead today and the amount of goals we’ve conceded in the group stages in general. Still early days but will need to up our game for the start of the league next weekend.

A pretty open, but dull game. On the balance of chances in the first half I’d say we were pretty fortunate to go in at half time 1-0 up. Anything good tended to come through Dhanda as usual really. Second half a lot of youngsters got a run out which disrupted things a bit. Really don’t think there’s a future for Hiwula at County. What with Brophy and Samuel not involved today, along with Murray and White I’d have him down as 5th choice. He was as bad as I can remember and his wage ought to have been freed up by now.
