  1. I loved big Bruno but I'm not sure about that. Beaten him? Probably. A wee bit of revisionism going on with regards to how good Bruno actually was. Most famous for "hurting" Mike Tyson and beating a mentally unstable Oliver McCall to become world champion but also prone to turning into a big robot when hit on the chin. Personally I think Takam would've been a bit of a nightmare for him.
  2. I didn't use the word embarrassment but he's clearly not made the most of what talent he has due to not living the life required. People more qualified than me or you will endorse that statement too.
  3. Lewison needs to chuck it. Nearly 3 months notice for that fight and he still couldn't get rid of that flab. Plus, I've seen enough of his arse crack to last a lifetime.
  4. There was a Behind The Scenes documentary on Sky earlier this month. Hopefully not the same one.
  5. I see Joshua has also backed Jnr to beat Groves, saying his speed and engine will prove decisive. Just saying like..
  6. There's no doubt Whyte has issues finishing opponents but he's probably the most durable heavyweight out there. The punishment he absorbed in the AJ fight was ridiculous. The real shame is he hasn't progressed in the way many thought he would've since then, even moreso with the revelation he fought Joshua with a shoulder injury that later required surgery.
  7. Step up Dillian Whyte [emoji23]
  8. I'd say he probably is to be honest.
  9. [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] Not a Whyte fan then?
  10. And you know what? Having said all that I'd fancy him to upset Wilder.
  11. I'm struggling to get anyone to go with me [emoji23]
  12. I'll be honest. I'd like to see that again [emoji23]
  13. Same script with the Eubank night. I've paid £100 for the VIP package. Photo opportunity and personal greeting on arrival etc. What's Brunos mental condition these days? Seems to be up and down.
  14. On a sidenote I'm going to a night with Chris Eubank at Ayr Racecourse next month.
  15. Well er no. It's usually random punters all wanting into the unofficial singing section.
  16. I see the bookies have Eubank very slight favourite at 4/5. Groves evens.
  17. I've asked myself these same questions. I'm not sure you can say he hasn't inherited his Dad's chin though? I don't recall Spike having him rattled tbh. As I say one of us will be proved correct in January and I can't wait.
  18. It'll be the usual free for all anyway. I usually end up to the right of the stand sharing a seat with another 3 folk [emoji23]
  19. I disagree. I think his work rate is precisely what will win him the fight with Groves. Eubank will be able to sustain a relentless pace for 12 rounds and eventually I think he'll wear Groves down who let's not forget has always been suspect during the back end of fights where he tends to fade. I can't wait for this fight as it'll answer a lot of questions about Jnr and for me prove he is 100% the real deal.
  20. The fight with Burns was probably Crawfords' watershed moment and he's gone on to become one of the top pound for pounds since then and Burns has racked up a substantial amount of mileage on the back of that loss. All things considered I think there's every chance Taylor would stop him and I'd put decent money on it happening.
  21. Fair enough and I should add I'm a huge Burns fan. I think the vicious body shots Taylor threw against Davies (another relative novice I know) could be what would be Burns' undoing. A fight I'd love to see happen and if it does I reckon it would be the back end of next year -dependant on the outcome of any Crolla rematch - and Rickys swansong.
  22. I agree but I think you're playing Devils Advocate here. If I handed you £50 to place a bet on Burns v Taylor next weekend who would you stick it on?
