As I was saying on Sunday.

The fact certain people will make money out of this sale sums up everything that has been wrong with our club for many years.

However, unless it also involves getting rid of “ Hawdit & Dawdit” from the dugout, it will be a glass half-empty measure as people are sick of this Charlatan in the Dugout with plenty Season Book holders not even attending the last few home games which sums up the frustration.

If this "truth" you keep peddling about losing 50 percent of your fan base (an excuse for having attendances of 700 & odd) is true then that is even more bewildering as you would have been in the premier league at the time....it's horseshit isn't it...you just don't have 800 fans

Well bellend, we sold nearly 1,000 Season Tickets and that was with folk moaning about the prices and with no option to split the payments.

If you read my posts on here, you will see why the Accies home support can vary wildly and it is all to do with the contentious relationship between The Club and Fans.

We have had decades of Owners castigating supporters and that leads to the aforementioned along with long losing runs.

Crowd versus Cove just after New Year was 1400+, so by the reckoning here, there were 750 Cove fans in the away end.😂

Some soap in the toilets at Palmerston

I was in the Main Stand for the recent game against my team and everyone was tut-tutting in the toilet  at the lack of soap…there wasn’t any.

As for Accies, obviously the aim would be to get back to the top flight since we have had 2 spells there in the last 16 years.

However, that is more difficult now I feel with bigger clubs getting their act together, plus the fact we lost over 50% of our fanbase during the Canning years and many of these people still haven’t returned.

Whatever League we are in, we need to reconnect with locals and try to get more kids and lapsed fans into the fold.

We also need to keep the Youth system going as there is nothing the Accies support like more than seeing kids come through the system and either become first team regulars or move up the ladder.

That is one of my biggest bugbears with John Rankin as he was a highly rated Youth Coach at Hearts and has completely abandoned the Youth at Accies refusing to give many of them a deserved chance.

  4. Never even checked the score as that is how I feel at the moment and I feel sorry for those who once again were let down.

Listening to his Post Match Interview and I thought for a second it was Canning/Rice talking after an away game at the Old Firm and not a team in this League fighting for survival.

He should have had his jotters after that 5-0 defeat at Cappielow  last season as it was plainly obvious then he was clueless.

One point from 12 is surely meeting The Club Supremo’s KPI’s.

After less than two seasons in League 1, Queens look more out of their depth than they did in the Championship. The decline in that short time has been incredible. Bartley should have been sacked long ago. If he is still in post for the next game, it beggars belief.
They are a complete and utter shambles.

I give you QOS decline and raise you Accies.

Three years ago we were playing Rangers off the park and now we would struggle to beat Berwick Rangers.

The decline of both clubs and the halving of both supports is due to bad decisions made in the Boardroom at both QOS/Accies.

It wasn’t a laughable defeat, that’s disrespectful to Alloa, a team who’s on significantly better form than you. I can assure you, results won’t take a dramatic upturn if you get rid of Rankin.

That’s not what I was referring to.

The laughable part is a full-time squad of 31 players with 1 home win in last 6; dropped points against 4 part-time clubs in that run and 12 points dropped at home against part-timers made even worse with the part-time sides looking fitter.

PS, results and performances would take an immediate upturn due to players knowing their position, players needing dropped being dropped and a settled team.

We watch this pish; we have a bigger squad now than in the Premier 3 years ago.

Hard to ‘feel sorry’ for a guy who in reality is just absolutely shite at his job tbh.

Yep,O’Hara as I have said all season would be a good back up and not the main man.

Three years ago he wouldn’t have got on our bench but we are where we are.

Well done Alloa,it is getting laughable now.

    Who tanned all the money?

    (I think that I know)

A certain rotund ex Chairman who ended up at Brockville shafted both clubs…allegedly😉

A couple of examples of what went on included an ex Director purchasing Properties adjacent to the old Douglas Park for £71,000 & £89,000 respectively only to sell them to the Club(who needed the land) for £579,000  & £589,000 respectively.

Robert Gibb who owned Flamingoland in North Yorkshire was traveling to Hamilton for a Board Meeting to finally oust the rogues and secure himself, Ally Duguid & David Campbell total control of the club.

He died in a car crash en route and his grieving widow was conned into selling her shares to the despised Jim Watson who regained control and the disasters which then occurred.

All these and other issues are ingrained on the Accies supporters psyche  and younger fans have their own issues with corruption and a them v us  attitude.

Thus, when the likes of Rankin or the new Board have a go at fans, they just say “Foxtrot Oscar” which is why our crowds can swing from one extreme to the other.

Years of being treated like crap by the club they support has caused this and this New Board are already repeating the errors of many predecessors.

This is the one. And its why I feel sorry for Accies fans. Where do these fucking p***ks come from that get their claws into our clubs.....

I have been watching Accies since 1977 and only once-under Alistair Duguid and David Campbell have we had Owners with the best interests of the fans/club at heart.

This was the club remember who sold the ground for £6.5 million, got another £2 million from the the Retail  Park  and were left with £650,000 to build a ground after certain individuals got their hands on the money.

Hence the 2 Stands and not 4 and the extra money from The Retail Park  was to pay for a  covered roof which would have been a first up here.

Add in stopping a lottery winner joining the Board and a million other things and it has mostly been grim.

  10. I used to enjoy the banter and everything else associated with Accies v Clyde, but it is sad to see how far this rot has set in and the despair of the fans: we’ve been there and might end up there again.

Rumours through here are Colin McGowan and Ronnie McDonald may want to clamber aboard?

I always thought you guys should have ground-shared with Rutherglen Glencairn and rebuilt the club from it’s Rutherglen base,so would that not be a better option than Crownpoint?

Finally,I am surprised to see Chrissy McGinn on the bench as anytime he has played for us, he has looked good.

Rankin dropped him for one bad game in The Championship while his favourites are still playing every week.

    All the best going forward.

I would be amazed if they have season tickets that number in three figures.

Yes, I know you are here for the banter, but nearly  1,000 sold at current prices better than expected.

Thing is though they are not all turning up due to the refusal to ditch this dud of a Manager and they won’t renew next season in this League if he is still here.

Absolute thuggery, glad our supports good name wasn’t tarnished by getting riled by this bad behaviour and intimidation.

I witnessed it all and it was started by a guy in the home end launching Vapes into the away end and that Gregg Wallace lookalike and his pal continuing the barrage that came from him for the 90 minutes.

Gloating home fans and a riled up away support in close attendance is a recipe for what happened.

    Much ado about nothing.

The last time it got toxic at Hamilton against Alloa Accies scored four goals in the blink of an eye 😔

Won’t be enough folk in attendance to make it go toxic.

That will come when you or Montrose beat us in The Play Offs when folk return for those games.

Long may your your jumped up junior outfit continue to languish in the lower leagues . Hopefully your shitty wee club will be playing in a derby with Caledonian Braves soon .Giruy

If you are indeed a Well fan did League reconstruction not save you from a deserved relegation?

Falkirk cheated out of a top tier place I remember also back in the day.

Not to worry old bean,we were  7 years without a ground, went all the way down, back up and will do so again eventually.
