  1. Callum Waters has, today, joined Sligo Rovers on loan until the summer.
  2. On the subject of Youssouf, this is from a post on Killie Kickback this morning. If true, personally I've not read anything I can recall, then the ball is firmly in the fans court..... If we want to keep him longer (which we obviously do) we need to get more season tickets sold! Can't remember where I saw it but did BB not say if we got another 1000 season tickets sold he could make him a better offer? So if Killie fans want to see his standard play at RP we all need renew early and get more to buy in!
  3. Nice comeback & clamped the Arab up, made me chuckle anyways.....

  9. Major Kilmarnock shareholder Billy Bowie says he has no desire for a high profile, and that Rugby Park's artificial surface will be replaced by grass for the start of the 2019/20 season. (The Times)
  10. Cracking signing guys. Hopefully he gets his career back on track with The Dee's.
  11. 12. Kilmarnock are in talks with 31-year-old DR Congo midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu, who came close to signing for Bordeaux in January, about a contract extension. (Daily Mail, print edition)
  13. It was posted on Killie Kickback, Bordeaux tried to get Youssouf on transfer deadline day, perhaps it wasn't just a rumour. From SC post match interview..... Match winner Mulumbu received praise from the manager after the club fended off late interest in the midfielder late in the January window. He said: "There was a deal that fell through, fortunately. "It could have happened - but somebody was looking after us. "You never know what to expect from the transfer window but I was hopeful. "Once a club came sniffing there was always the possibility that we could lose him "I said it was important not to lose key players during the window and so credit to the club that we managed to do that and you've seen his qualities.

  17. Jordan Jones tweets 'Never been HAPPIER to see the end of the month! Fully focused on helping @OfficialKillie achieve the highest position possible in the league. This club give me a life line when I needed one and I will continue to work as hard as I can to be the best I can be'
  18. Apparently we've also signed Jasko Keranovic, young Australian U20 keeper on loan from West Brom
  19. Billy Bowie admits he could never have envisaged the impact Steve Clarke would make when he joined Kilmarnock. But the club’s majority shareholder has praised the manager for bringing the “feelgood factor” to Rugby Park following a stunning start to life back in Ayrshire. Killie suffered just their third loss under Clarke against Aberdeen at the weekend. But Bowie, who joined the board at Rugby Park in 2013, says Clarke has been the best manager in the dug-out since he decided to plough cash into the club’s coffers. The Kilmarnock director said: “There’s a good feeling about the place, that’s for sure. “There is no negativity and everyone is pulling in the same direction. “When we appointed Steve we could never have imagined he’d make this sort of impact so quickly. “The feelgood factor is back at the club and it’s certainly the best managerial appointment in my time at Kilmarnock.” Clarke has yet to complete significant business in the January transfer window as he largely sticks with the squad he inherited from Lee McCulloch, with the added presence of star midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu. But the boss may look to re-shape his squad this summer in a bid to have them firing even more in the Scottish Premiership. And Bowie insists the manager will be backed by the board to make any changes necessary. He said: “You’ve got to back your manager and we will do that with Steve, like we have with all of the managers we have had in the past. “Steve is happy at Kilmarnock and we want to keep him here for as long as possible. Obviously you can’t control what happens in football but we’re confident he’s happy to stay.” Attendances have steadily improved since the club’s up-turn in form as punters make their way back to Rugby Park. Bowie is confident as the spring months approach even more fans will return to back their favourites. He added: “I think you will see the attendances go up at Rugby Park, especially when the weather starts to get a bit better. “They have been increasing slightly and to get 3,500 at the Scottish Cup game with Ross County was a good turnout.” (Record)
  20. Exactly which of the 2 of me are you addressing?
  21. He was a McCulloch signing tbf, I get the impression Steve Clarke doesn't fancy him much given the amount of game time he's got since Clarke arrived.... I have a sneaky suspicion Thomas won't be at Rugby Park by the start of next season, unless he sets the Championship on fire of course.
