  2. We haven't had a need for undersoil heating since the artificial pitch was laid 5yrs ago, do try to keep up..... Morton fans accusing others of being tinpot is a bit of a shanner
  3. MANUEL PASCALI doesn’t have to look beyond the end of his nose to get a reminder of Scotland. And the former Kilmarnock captain admits he’s seriously thinking about returning to the country. He’s delighted to see his old team prospering under Steve Clarke and would love to become manager at Rugby Park himself one day. For the moment, though, he’ll settle for becoming a supporter if Killie can qualify for Europe. The 37-year-old Italian, now playing for Cosenza in Serie B, is incredibly passionate about all things surrounding Scottish football. He said: “There is a big connection between myself and Scottish people. “I have the ginger beard now as well. I’ve been doing Movember and the red hair started coming through. Maybe a couple of hundred years ago my family was in Scotland! “I was talking with my wife about it and saying that sometimes I seriously feel like Kilmarnock is my home. When you spend seven years in the same team, it’s a big part of your life. “In modern football, you can’t easily find players who stayed with one club for such a long time, especially foreign players. When people ask me how long I stayed in Scotland and I answer seven years, they go crazy. “My kids are six and nine now. I think it might be better for them in Scotland. “I took the UEFA B coaching licence in Scotland, but I’m still doing OK as a player. We won our league last season and are now in Serie B. “I know I don’t have a lot of time left, but I feel I’m still important to my team. I won’t hang up my boots until I feel I’m not making a contribution. “You never know what’s going to happen in our profession but I can see myself back here one day doing something for the club. I have no regrets about staying so long. I maybe only regret not staying longer. I probably stayed seven years because I loved the passion in the football and the fans. “It’s the same passion we have in Italy.” Pascali was with Killie when they beat Celtic to win the League Cup in 2012, but he missed the final because of injury. The club then surprisingly dispensed with the services of boss Kenny Shiels and struggled for several years. The dramatic upturn under Steve Clarke has delighted Pascali. He went on: “My first year away ,they were in the relegation play-off. That made me sad to see them struggling. Under Steve Clarke, they are flying. I watched a couple of matches that were on when I wasn’t playing and really enjoyed them. I saw them beating Celtic last season and they looked so, so organised. Everybody looks like they know exactly what they’re doing and the results are coming. It’s not a coincidence. They look like a serious top-six club at the moment.” Pascali was back in Ayrshire recently to play in the Kris Boyd Testimonial. That visit reminded him of how much he misses his old club. He said: “I hope they will achieve something this season and get the dream of playing in Europe again. “Maybe they will draw an Italian team. That would be ideal so that I could go and watch. “I always said that Kilmarnock as a club had to be competing for a place in the top six and going for fifth or fourth, fighting with the likes of Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibernian. When I was there, we only missed out because of small things, details. It looks like they have that with this manager. “When you do things properly off the park as a club, as well as on it, the results will come.”
  4. Some result lads.... We need the return of the Ayrshire derby. IMO you need to keep Shankland at all costs till the end of the season & get yourselves back up to the top league.......

  6. According to a witness to the argument in the carpark, Kiltie wasn't involved, it appears, reading between the lines, Kiltie jacked it as he didn't agree with the way Bill White was treated.... thou that's only my opinion tbf.
  7. He was the same at Boydy's Testimonial last week. Coisty's been spending a fair bit of time around RP recently. I've saw him a couple of times I've been to watch training sessions & reserve matchs, perhaps he's picking up tips from SC? .......

  9. Speirsy got a wee visit on Friday, hopefully it cheered him up on his road to recovery .........
  10. The name & address will be made public at the trial..... I wouldn't like to be in his shoes when it does. PS.... apparently named as Clark Boon from Prestwick
  11. Utter scum....... An innocent dad of three was attacked and seriously injured after thugs squared up to Kilmarnock players on a night out. Keith Speirs, 50, was head-butted in the face and suffered a fractured skull as he hit the ground. It came after he and a pal saw ex-Rangers star Kirk Broadfoot and other Kilmarnock stars being surrounded by thugs in Prestwick, Ayrshire. One of them placed a phone in front of Broadfoot’s face, began filming and shouted: “You dirty orange c**t”. Broadfoot, 34, did not respond. It was then that joiner Keith and a friend stumbled on the scene. The friend tried to calm the situation. But Keith was then headbutted in the face and had his head slammed on the ground, causing a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain. A 23-year-old woman who was near the scene went to Keith’s aid before he was rushed to hospital. The attack happened at 2am on Sunday. Police say Prestwick Main Street would have been busy at the time. They are checking on CCTV images and appealing for witnesses to contact them. Keith was rushed to hospital where his condition was “serious”. His partner Julie Mirfin, 44, said yesterday: “I’m just going to the hospital to see him now. “He is a bit brighter but he can remember nothing. “Keith did absolutely nothing wrong. He is not that type of person. “He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is improving but not out of the woods yet. He has a fractured skull and has bleeding on the brain. We’re just praying.” Julie has two children from a previous relationship. Her son Robbie Muirhead, 22, is a former Kilmarnock, Hearts and MK Dons player who now plays for Dunfermline Athletic. Keith has three sons from a previous relationship. Julie added: “Keith and his friend walked into a kebab shop. The altercation was going on as they walked in and they just walked past it. “It was still going on as they walked back out. “There were about six or eight people round the players. This one guy was in the face of a player. “My son is a footballer and it really makes me sick that people think they can go up to football players and say whatever they like. It is disgusting. The suspect is described as white and was wearing a white shirt and dark trousers. Police have appealed for witnesses.
  12. It's working fine for me too..... you must be on the naughty list

  14. According to one of Samson's family..... Sunderland currently have 3 keepers, Jon McLaughlin who is 1st choice, Dutchman Robbin Ruiter as 2nd choice and top prospect, young Polish keeper Max Strycek, currently out on loan to Eastleigh but he will be recalled at Christmas, Ruiter will be allowed to leave and Samson will be 3rd choice back up as well as their GK coach.
  15. Those figures you've posted seem more accurate than the posters that you replied to. At Killie, Phyllis McLeish has just stuck £200k into our coffers to sort out the marketing & online ticketing side of the club
  16. Your correct @craigkillie There is no set figure, but...... Rule 16.2.5.2 The cost of any hearing including outlays This was applied to us when Greg Stewart got his ban, which cost us £500.
  17. I don't see how it can be anything other than a 2 match ban when you consider the TV evidence of the incident is more blatant than the Greg Stewart one on Scott Martin nearly 3 weeks ago. If Livi want to waste £500 to contest the offer which, so far, no contradictory evidence has come to light then that's up to them. It's not as if contesting the offer is going to give Livi an advantage in their next match, as the hearing is scheduled for this Thursday anyway.
  18. The fuckin nick of this choad.... Agree..... considering Scott Brown has been getting away with exactly the same things for years
  19. Looks like the ball boy is wiping away his tears already, not to mention the Hearts support looking less than impressed in this one.....
  20. Yeah, £5 for season ticket holders but the majority of the guys I know just handed over the non season ticket cost of £10 as its going to a charity anyway......
  21. Go into a game against either cheek of the arse with that attitude & your beat before kick off. There is nothing to fear within Glasgow either.....
