  1. Always worth repeating stuff for Hearts. In1986, they only needed to draw (draw!).
  2. A temporary restructuring would be an absolutely farcical, laughing stock-in-waiting decision. Its only saving grace would be the delicious, glorious prospect of Hearts still being shite and going down when the league shrinks again.
  3. What's their reasoning for that, do you know? Is it purely the Old Firm games thing or is there any other reason for it? Genuine question.
  4. So the Dundee fans can have two different opinions according to whichever way the wind is blowing.
  5. It's notoriously easy to work your way up the English leagues, though, so there's always that.
  6. Obika, woah-oh, Obika, woah-oh, He came from London town, He sent the Jambos down.
  7. Reconstruction would unfairly pile huge pressure on Morton, tbh. Imagine having to find all new ways to not get promoted. They'll really have to dig deep.
  8. Ignore the Old Firm; ignore Hibs. Had you beaten St Mirren the other week, would Hearts be voting in favour of ejecting us from an unfinished league? Come on, straight answer. Because if that answer is 'yes', and we all know it would be, then any argument about fairness is completely and utterly voided. I don't blame the clubs that voted against this for doing so, but while the fact exists that you'd be in favour of it if it wasn't affecting you, then it's impossible to argue about the unfairness of it and be taken seriously. Because actually what you're saying is, this is unfair to Hearts. If you were in 10th or higher, Heart of Midlothian FC wouldn't give a tiny f**k about how far ahead of Falkirk Raith are. And that's the problem here. If we were sitting bottom, I'd be wailing about the unfairness of it too, but that would also carry little weight. This sucks, but the whole situation sucks and we need a pragmatic solution.
  9. Knowing the way these things work (glances at Hearts), Rangers will hold a grudge against Dundee for this for years, won't they?
  10. I really wish we'd known at the time that Obika was relegating Hearts and keeping us up.
  11. Proof please There's a photo of the voting slip signed by Nelms, if that helps. Doesn't prove it was submitted, tbf. Edit - they're on here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52253331
  12. The real carnage came when you'd accidentally try to fax a phone number. It'd keep trying to send it over and over. Oh, the hilarity. Halcyon days, tbqhwy.
  13. And there's absolutely nothing integrous about letting those teams in trouble have another tilt at mending/tweaking their fucking terrible squads.
  14. Didn't make much sense for them to vote against the 10/2 voting thing either, yet here we are.
  15. Surely Rangers fans would want it to end now as they'd be able to whinge about it forever. If they get the games played then they'll be beaten fair and square. Imagine twisting and bitching and waiting for months to get the games on and then still being soundly pumped into second place. They can finish second now and cry foul, which is very much their M/O, or they can wait and lose later and have no complaints. I don't buy this sporting integrity shite for one minute.
  16. That is fucking bizarre and unnecessary use of the future tense.
  17. I know it's just the newspaper talking, and I know we all know this to be the case, but this sentence is fucking disgusting. Get Hearts to f**k, they've been shite. Football's got to be a meritocracy or it's fucked. The idea that their relegation might help to prompt change boils my piss. If you're gonna do it, do it for the right reasons. [/Rant]
