    Absolute scenes in the Championship/Dundee this season. One of them is going to end up in the playoffs, too. Seems like an unnecessarily big gamble.

    There've been lots of players that just couldn't pass medicals: Ledley King could never have left Spurs even if he wanted to as his knees were shot and he could barely train. Demba Ba was similar - Newcastle and Chelsea definitely both signed him despite being aware of his issues.

    That Record article indicates he passed a medical... maybe it was a wave-through. Maybe there was a level you were prepared to go to for a player who wasn't necessarily 100% fit, but as soon as they started squeezing you for more, it became too much of a gamble. Blind speculation, mind.
