  1. He really is, tbf. That said, Falkirk fans were always overly concerned about the 'sexiness' of their team and a fat load of good that's done them.
  2. Yeah. The way we set up, and the pace in that Jack Ross team, was probably flattering to a lot of players, if we're entirely honest with ourselves. You're bound to find space if the opposition is doubling up on Lewis Morgan, for a start. Genuine question on a related note: would you have Reilly back? I feel like his pace would be useful on the counter, for example. But I still don't see him as a proper number 9 and I think he'd struggle in a team providing very little service.
  3. He had fitness issues, did he not? Sure I asked the Arabs at the time and they said that was the only reason he wasn't starting. Osman Sow, though
  4. Can't agree with the Cammy Smith thing. Neither Stubbs nor Oran fancied him, and hardly tore the heather up for United... He was my PotS the season before last, but it's time to move on, I reckon.
  5. I thought big Gary Mac played him very well. Gary Mac played everyone pretty well, tbf. We need to wrap him in cotton wool/a cryo chamber just in case he's needed for the playoffs next year as well. I'd been wondering that. At least he's shown he's an option, and can score, and is a bit busy.
  6. Yeah, he had limited game time in the playoffs but was their biggest threat, IMO, though that might not be saying much. I look forward to seeing him playing against us after signing for Killie.
  7. Killie appear to be playing the same game of chicken. True: I really think they're in the same boat we were last year. Come off the back of a good season, goodwill already gone, manager fucked everyone off already... Probably wondering if they can/should bag him. I'd still swap their squad for ours in a heartbeat, though, if not their manager.
  8. This new approach we have, which favours neither quantity nor quality, is certainly an interesting one. It might catch on: wonder if the other teams are watching and taking notes.
  9. Did someone vaguely credible not suggest that Tony Fitz was potentially on his way as well? There's been so much stuff thrown round that I can't remember who said what.
  10. WHY HAVEN'T WE GOT ANY FUCKING PLAYERS?! It's just amateurish. Rank rotten.
  11. Yeah we might be daft but we aren't stupid (some utter mugwump is going to do this, we never bloody learn). It was a Thistle fan who started our Relegation Express thread in the Championship forum, too. We avoided relegation then passed them on the way up. It was a great thread, though. Should be archived for future generations.
  12. True. Nobody does a January transfer window squad overhaul like we do. Piece of piss. It'd be nice if we didn't shit the bed when it comes to acquisitions every summer, though.
  13. I still get drawn back, but it's just habitual now. I get no value or entertainment from it. Much like with any other social media, it's mainly a cesspool with increasingly sparse moments of quality. Decent posters being driven away by constant, repetitive bickering among the same slightly broken middle-aged men. This place is actually an oasis by comparison, and is far superior.
  14. The really weird thing is, Gordon Parks was blaming everyone but Stubbs when he got emptied by St Mirren last summer. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/oran-kearney-should-beware-st-13251847 Important to remember what a high we were on as a club when Stubbs arrived. So Stubbs comes in, alienates everyone, buys shite and gets some really terrible results = players' fault. Alessio does the same = Alessio's fault. (I'm not saying Alessio shouldn't be sacked, btw - sometimes clubs make mistakes, as any St Mirren fan will know. I'm just pointing out Parks is a c**t.)
  15. I'm not even sure he's ever been correct He's been dropping these 'ITK'-style doom-mongering posts on here for about six weeks now and I am fairly sure his reliable sources are the voices in his head. He's a solid enough Saints fan, but it's painful to read.
  16. He's at Shrewsbury now, isn't he? I'd be interested to know how their recruitment is going. Well, you'd assume.
  17. You'd hope we will... Depends who the faces are, right enough. We are laughably threadbare at the moment. Barely getting a team out. We started today with a CH and a FB in defence, with two midfielders at fullback. That's not even injuries, we just haven't got any players. It's a joke. Anyway, yeah, as it stands, we are by some distance worse than you guys.
