  1. It’ll be interesting to see how Orsi does up top with Oyinsan, I reckon he could feed off him well if he’s smart about it.
  2. I’m sad to be saying this, but if it frees up a wage we can probably do better than him now. He’s primarily brought petulance and incredibly late tackles this season.
  3. I think his athleticism vastly outweighs his talent, so I’d have to agree. He’s fine in midfield but isn’t going to cause problems for other teams there.
  4. That I am aware of, I was however putting forth a hypothetical for this post-pandemic. I honestly think a return to the ban on streaming would be incredibly short-sighted and that there’s probably a solution which can be reached which keeps people turning up at games but services remote fans better.
  5. I’m in a similar situation to various other people for whom a season ticket wouldn’t make sense were it not for the streaming. I live too far away from Dumbarton to make it to more than the odd home game, but have bought season tickets to access the streaming over the past two seasons. Personally I’d love for that to be able to continue, the club gets my money and I can watch matches I wouldn’t otherwise. Perhaps there could be a more expensive “season ticket with streaming” option going forward? This would allow those in my situation to mainly stream, but attend the odd game when possible, but dissuade locals from taking that option. Granted that doesn’t offer any provision for away fans to stream a match and it’s probably less viable to have a higher single match streaming price than the pay at gate price.
  6. I’m still not sure what kind of player Pignatiello is really. He seems basically competent at most things but has no real standout qualities.
  7. Aye do exactly this. Wylde looked decent going forward at the weekend, but I was far from convinced with his defensive work.
  8. Just watched about 20 seconds of a highlights video which included him winning a flick-on. More seriously 5 goals from 12 is better than anyone we have on our books right now. No idea what the level of the National League South is like though.
  9. Doolan would be the virtual footballer that disappointed me. 34ish, hasn’t played since the summer. Something like 3 goals in 21 for Arbroath last season. If it is him then best of luck to him obviously.
  10. If it’s who I think it is then he was shite for us in my Football Manager save this year.
  11. One positive of being a Dumbarton fan is that you get to see some absolutely hilarious goals. That’s up there with Ramsbottom skelping it in off McGeever’s back.
  12. I see we’ve entered that same worrying zone that we have a few times in recent years, where Carsy looks to be our most likely scorer…
  13. That’s plenty Stevie. We’re going down if we don’t make a change.
  14. Really not a fan of 4-3-3 with the current Sons squad.
  15. Calling it now. We’ll lose a goal from Buchanan tracking Dowds a long way up the pitch and Falkirk exploiting the space that leaves.
  16. Not like they pumped us last time or anything.
  17. Didn’t watch the game, but glad we got the win. We can’t catch a break though, we could really have done without Peterhead and Clyde winning.
  18. Just checked where their ground is and I used to run past it all the time and had no idea it was there.
