  2. Hats off to cardiff, streets ahead of leeds tonight .can't make up my mind which was worse, leeds back 4 or mick from gomersal's attempt at the half time penalty challenge
  3. Leicester could have been 3 or 4 up inside 20 minutes. Leeds have Cardiff next if they turn in a similar type performance I expect a heavy defeat. 4. I think we can put that 1 down as a failed experiment, along with the travel company & motor racing team. I've no doubt that the fat cats at Elland Road (who ever they really are) would trade traditional support for far eastern cash in a heartbeat. To a degree the club has been sheltered by poor team performance (I don't think there's much interest in L1 in Shanghai). The dramatic decline in the Leeds Uniteds team meant that there was quite an interval between visits to Old Trafford for me. When I returned on Jan 3rd the place had changed in a way I wouldn't have predicted possible previously. Not the fixture I remember from the past, closest you get for me these days is FC United vs Ossett Town.
  5. My favourite photo from Jan 3rd, the far east Red had to stop and ask a group of visiting fans for directions to Old Trafford. Saw him again passing the scoreboard end. Sky & the Glazers have done quite a job on that lot.
  6. Who know's may just be another false dawn, only a rumuor at this stage. Time will tell.
  7. Strong rumour that Shaun Harvey is to be replaced as CEO at Elland Road (within 21 days). If true it's almost certainly the 1st move from a group of new owners / investors.
  8. Really???? When your membership card comes in get yourself down for some aways.
  9. I thought it was a pretty tepid affair, the rivalry is a 1 way job. Events at Bramall Lane barely even register at LS11.
  10. The bloke who was picked to do the half time challenge for the 1st match home game of the season (Derby County) was possibly worse than todays excuse. Best effort this year so far was Steve from Garforth against Swansea managed it from just inside the half way line (they always seem to pick candidates from the West Stand for some reason). I'm in the KOP this year N11. Seemed to be a bit of hand bags after the match, couldn't get out of the car park on Wesley Street for mounted police charging about the place. fingers crossed for Tuesday.
  11. Did you see the chief at half time? & how bad was the durk from the west stand that couldn't find the net from the penalty spot at half time in front of the kop? Reminded me of Diana Ross. If you kick a football like a complete shirley volounteering for the half time penalty challenge isn't a good idea.
  12. Date & time of the Cardiff match changed AGAIN, this time for sky. Now to KO Monday Oct 25th 7.45. http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20100923/cardiff-clash-now-on-tv_2247585_2163147
  13. Next home game after Preston is Leicester City on Tue 19th of Oct, Cardiff City is on Sat 23rd Oct. Expect Fergie's lad to take some stick again when he visits ER.
  14. Here's the lads at the Square Balls best effort at an explanantion, even on full screen & with my screen turned side ways it's not making much sense. No PM from Mangina btw. LUFC Ownership

  16. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/apr/05/leeds-yeovil-league-one-match-report Yeovil Away Istanbul April 2000 Waiting for your PM C*nt, are you going to melt like the qwerty ninja I suspect you are?
  17. Proud of yourself? I can arrange for you to meet Chris Loftus's brother just drop me a PM if you fancy it. Don't bother posting more shit on the subject, I'll wait for your PM.
  18. So for the sake of a 296 Euro dinner tab, Ken has manged to piss off, Arsenal (remember Watt is currently on loan), Man City & the Labour party. Last time he pissed off Everton & Coventry City, I'm sure these articles are great news for journo's and brilliant entertainment for the neutral but I fail to see the positive outcome for Leeds United. Just an ego trip for a silly old fu@cker who hasn't been caught yet. By the way Ken your bollox re the fans loving your program notes count for sweet FA, your program notes relating to former LUFC invester Levi cost £1.5 million, he had to settle out of court after calling the independant Chelsea supporters group a bunch of parasites in the CFC program. He might enjoy writing program notes but it seems quite an expensive past time for who ever picks up the bill. I'd love a break down of the £10 million he's spent, admin, lawyers, cost of failed court cases?????????????????? So the fans at ER want Ronaldo and complain about the ticket prices Ken?? You promised us Permiership football for Premiership ticket prices, I've bought a season ticket every year you've been in charge. Last season my L1 season ticket was more expensive than several permiserhip clubs. Ronaldo?don't make me laugh, we coughed up permiership prices and he delivered Paul Dickov a 38 year old no fUcker else wanted. Also don't moan about the rent Ken, you had the chance to buy Thorpe Arch but blew it & blamed it on LCC at the last minute you utter cu*t. How he is making us pay for wrecking that score board. Lets hope Grayson can work his magic despite Ken. I can't make my mind up who I'd rather have in charge at Scum, Ken or the Glazers.
  19. Kris I hunted around on the net & found this article printed in The Mail on the 6th of August, in it Ken claims the club has a cash reserve of £4million pounds http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1300970/Leeds-United-chairman-Ken-Bates-trademark-blast.html So Ken claims Leeds have £4 million but failed to exercise the clause to purchase Thorpe Arch at approx half it's value????? Now the right to purchase at reduced rate has passed. Makes very little sense, either Leeds don't have the cash or Ken is happy to pay crippling rent to an unknown party based in the West Indies. ideas on a postcard anyone?
  20. Really where? LUFC announced a £4.5 million pound profit in their accounts posted June 2008 [/url]LUFC accounts June 2008 LUFC then sell Fabian Delph to Villa for between £6-8 million (depending on performance). Bates & Harvey state the repurchase of the Thorpe Arch training facility is a priority as the rent paid to a 3rd party is crippiling. In Oct 09 the club had the chance to re-purchase their Thorpe Arch Training facility for approx half the market value they didn't because they didn't have the cash and couldn't secure the finance. LUFC fail to exercise Thorpe Arch buy back clause At a time when the club should of been cash rich it seems they we're broke. The latest set of accounts show a very slender trading profit, many people believe the profit posted in the accounts June 2008 was repaid to those who funded the club's administration process (gone). LUFC Accounts June 2009 To try and understand whats going on at Elland Road you need to examine the accounts for the company that acts as a holding company for LUFC & also the accounts for the radio station the club operates. Leeds City Holdings accounts 2009 Yorkshire Radio 2009 The £4.5 million is long gone.
