  1. Anything could happen, we could score 3 away from home or concede 4 in the 1st half, must be a nightmare for the lads setting the odds.
  2. No excuses, took a cuffing, well done Crawley.
  3. They'd won five out of six by that stage the season before though, so it's not much of an indication that they wouldn't collapse. We're kind of going down the if "my Aunt had b*lls she'd be my Uncle" route here. If your logic prevails there wouldn't be much point in playing future seasons games, we should just accept what ever happened in the previous season will happen again the following season. LUFC's form was great pre lockdown & great post lockdown. Not sure if you watched the games on the run into the lockdown but they weren't showing signs of flagging / fatigue, on the contrary I felt they were on fire imo (played, 5, won 5, conceded 0). For me the games couldn't come fast enough & I'd say the pretty universally feeling was let's crack on while the going is good amongst the Leeds fans I know.
  4. I have some sympathy with that comment, maybe it's a generational thing but I just don't see the need for the club to get involved in a public twitter row. I'm not on twitter myself but have seen a few posts from the club which I think shouldn't have been made. I'd suggest that who ever is in charge of the social media account needs taking to task but I'm aware others would view me as a digital dinosaur. Leeds have long been on the receiving end when it comes to negative comments, some warranted, some unwarranted, if anybody involved with the club isn't able to tolerate the inevitable slings and arrows that will be incoming then Leeds isn't the club for them
  5. I've been watching Leeds since the 80's, I'd have to think very hard to try and come up with Leeds sides that are more pleasing on the eye.
  6. I realise this makes me a football dinasaur but I'd say a case of something and nothing. Bamford's 3rd there looked pretty decent so he seems to have recovered ok.
  7. 100% agree BWV, blatent power grab.
  8. Yes, there is a bit about that in the link below. https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/manchester-city-star-aymeric-laporte-hails-influence-leeds-united-boss-marcelo-bielsa-214393
  9. I think "woosh" was accurate, still grasping here Guv, back home was the show's theme tune. You might have to draw me a picture
  10. Okay, make it simple for me. Re your comment below which leagues do you feel are important and what criteria do you use to determine they are? If that question demonstrates I'm having a "woosh" episode feel free to explain why, don't be frightened you'll embarrass me, I've got a pretty thick skin.
  11. It has been a competitve, entertaining league. What criteria applies for leagues to be considered important in your opinion? Is it the case that this league is unimportant to you for no other reason than you have no affiliation to any of the teams that play in it?
  12. Their credability with me evaporated the moment they elected to give Shaun Harvey the top job.
  13. I'm pretty sure @RandomGuy has hit the nail on the head here, I really don't think he'd see success at Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona etc as a worthy enterprise, I doubt he sees winning something with those clubs as a real achievment. As othesr have said here he isn't renowned for long spells in club management and we should just enjoy him whilst he's here. I do question how practical it is for him to sustain the level of work he puts in long term, inevitably he'll move on and we''ll beome Bielsa widows
  14. We didn't take a point from the final 4 fixtures last season, Leeds are capable of anything. Agree with your comment DrewDon re Kiko.
  15. I've seen enough of Alioski to be confident that he isn't the full shilling.
  16. Even then you're in danger of not getting a pint before the 2nd half starts. I watched the videos of Spurs new stadium and bars with envy, to be fair populating our own bars with staff familiar with UK currency would be a step forward at least.
  17. The maddest thing I've ever witnessed at a match, I suspect Amazon edited the footage but at the game itself the whole episode seemed to go on for ages. Roberts made a half hearted attempt at kicking the ball into touch but it was picked up by Klich, you can see him thinking "it could be 20 yards or 30 yards" just before chaos ensued. The game was a dead rubber for Leeds.
  18. We're 3 points clear of 3rd, on a pretty bad run of form with 39 points left still to play for. Hardly insormountable but there you go.
  19. If Leeds make it town will be a good night out that's for sure, all the best with the tickets & enjoy the weekend in Leeds.
  20. How many do you need? How do you feel about sitting in the away end? If that seems ok for you why not get in touch with Charlton and see if you can buy tickets through them.
  21. Not sure if you are a member or not? I'd suggest it's certain that tickets for this game won't go on general sale & I doubt they would get past ticket sales to gold members. Might be some corporate tickets for the game but that won't be cheap.
  22. He also has to deal with this sh1te from his club president, I'm pleased to say MC the backward tosser was chased out of British football. https://twitter.com/AP_Sports/status/1198975144322117632 https://twitter.com/AndrewCesare/status/1198962223479246848
