It is a time sink with very little reward. The best bit is the novelty factor of exploring. Gets tiresome. Avoid

A gamer with completionist obsession or a complete explore whore will be trapped here in this game for ever.

  2. Putting an earworm in someones head is amusing, whistling a hook, a chorus or the beginning of a song. Nearly always works on your chosen target if you stop suddenly half way through.  You know you've succeeded when you get a glare/smile back which says 'you b*****d!'

Here's one I've tried earlier. You should know how this tune goes from the lyrics -

Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

I don't particularly care either. As a Scot though I find the bashing of all things Scottish very frustrating and annoying at times, has a negative affect I think.

Partly the reason why so many up here just think everything we have is shite.

Lots of people will just rubbish it like you and me but others will look at it and believe the shite they're spouting.

When English clubs regularly get their arses handed to them by clubs from Spain and Germany in European competition or the complete and utter failure of their national team in any competition it helps to raise the fragile self-esteem of some of the punters who listen and phone in to Talk Sport when they can pick on a weaker league from a smaller country like Scotland. Bullies react like this as well.

If we can win out the majority of these games and maybe just maybe give Sevco a good spanking I think we do have a shot at catching Saints and Jambos. Saints are very consistent but Cathro is really hurting Hearts. An outside shot we could finish 5th.

Forget the above...surely that's not possible? I'm getting excited thinking about the prospect.

What's the highest Thistle have finished in the top flight, I vaguely remember a 5th place achieved in the mid 70's and I'm sure there was a 3rd place in the early 60's. It would be some achievement if so and I don't see why Thistle can't push on from that next season, they seem a well run club now. With bigger clubs constantly underachieving every season, its a great opportunity for a smaller club to be well placed within the top 6. If Inverness and County can and you just have to see how consistent St. Johnstone have been over the last few seasons then why not Thistle as well?

Dave, that top one isn't Stornoway Utd, it's Ness again from a different angle. Utd share at Goathill with Athletic (Aths) which is in town.

The bottom one doesn't appear to be in Lewis or Harris at all. No idea where it is though.

EDIT- it's a neutral venue at Ullapool.

Obviously it's now time for a shameless plug for my blog on Lewis & Harris which is HERE :lol::lol:

It wasn't going to be perfect because of the lack of information......perfect opportunity for your blog then

    I'll tidy up the post.

    Nice photos. :thumsup2

If you've been to most of these grounds out on the Islands and around the wilds of Argyll and the north west Highlands, what in your opinion would be the most remote football pitch that's still in use in Scotland?
