Going to try and sleep before an early start tomorrow. Hope everyone has a superb day.

After being initially confident, I'm officially shitting myself to the point I can't sleep. I feel a bit sick whenever I think of Hibs lifting the cup, all I've planned for at the weekend is us winning the cup. Edit: It's cup final eve now though!

I reckon he'll be fit but on the bench, Paulo said he already picked the team at the start of the week when Beattie was still unfit so I presume he wasn't included in it. We didn't need him the other 2 times earlier in the season when we beat Hibs so it isn't too much of a blow if he doesn't make it.

We'll be facing a tiny team in this year but I'm sure it will still bring a massive sense of achievement for the players.

Got goosebumps earlier after watching the Man City celebrations, knowing that could potentially be our celebrations come saturday afternoon.

I'll be getting the train, information all seems a bit vague to me though, will probably pop into the train ticket office and get my tickets in the next few days to save some hassle. Looking forward to it, hopefully there will be a good atmosphere on the trains on the way there.

That should be the team we play, hopefully Beattie will be fit enough to play the whole match and not just the second 45 like Celtic. It worked but I don't think I could go 45 minutes of the match with Elliott up front, my confidence would probably vanish. I'm still confident, I just think of McGowan, Black and Skacel and how there isn't a hope in hell they will lose this game and I feel fine, they know exactly what it would mean for the fans. 2 more exams finishing on monday then I can start thinking about this non-stop. 9 days.

Fool on them if they take the banter on here seriously, it's a game of football. I wouldn't say it's the online banter but the banter as a whole, it might be tedious, embarrassing and predictable, but it's still all for fun. 33 pages on this match suggests there's quite alot to say about a football match. Edit: Not related to this post but thinking Thomson is a Hearts fan is Celtic level of Paranoia.

Tbf, after 127 years of playing each other, the banter is likely to get a bit predictable and tedious. Thankfully after we win on the 19th of May we won't be seeing much of Forever Missing I expect.

Calm down. The pre-match pish is part and parcel of a rivalry, what is the point in not winding each other before a match? It is just banter (the quality of it can probably be questioned) but you dish it out and you take it back, if you don't like it I suggest you follow a pishy rivalry like Ross County and Inverness. (No offence intended to Ross county or Inverness fans. )

It's fine, we'll still sing "You've only won 2 big cups, since 1902..." Ah f**k it, you can have it if you win. I'll be moderate drinking before the match so I'll always remember us pumping Hibs in the biggest derby of all time, and then I'll get absolutely fucked after the game. Still undecided whether to continue drinking after the match in Glasgow or head back to Edinburgh and find a pub/congregate on Gorgie Road. If we were to lose, I have no idea whether I'd go out anyway and try and enjoy the night or go home and lie in the fetal position in a dark room. I've been horrendously over-confident lately, I'm really hoping this lasts until the final! People are going to have a field day with the multi-quote button if we lose.

I love the Hearts ticket office, it's like a comedy show. It's the threshhold that should have been allocated at the start but to do it 2 days before they go on sale is comical! Glad I've got my ticket, twitchy arse time for those on 8-20 loyalty points. Edit: Looking forward to to the backlash on facebook, first Ian Black's contract not being renewed and now this, think of all the facebook protest pages they'll create.
