  1. Can you help them. Most of us want to make it home for the bells.
  2. A real championship night. Real close call that 0 v 1 Ayr prediction release that boy from the asylum shows what we all know!!
  3. Queen’s Park 1 Dundee Utd 2 Raith Rovers 3 Ayr United 1 Airdrie 1 Morton 1 Arbroath 1 Dunfermline 1 Partick Thistle 2 Inverness CT 1 For the first time this season I have done a form and stats review to influence my selections. Expect to end in in bottom half this week.
  4. This is a fans forum. I have been to the three games and are more than happy with the result and effort from the players. If any part of my observations don't concur with your view happy for hearing what your opinion is. Don't be a non constructive bully as per the Gordon pals group who red flaged my comments. It is obvious from the traffic on Gordon's site that you feel a red dot need. Have you decided that you have tired of attacking Dream OakTree or are you just a sheep Merry Christmas sorry f**k off ya c**t
  5. Well terrific result ruined by yet another piss poor ref. Top Marks to all the players, except big George. Is that us now without a main striker next week!! Yes, D, Power was the wrong sub when McGrattan should have come on. Power for Gillespie later on yes. Felt the pace of Bearne should have been used later on not fucking Boyd. The game was going fine until the Wilson injury and a few Morton players felt the challenge contributed to it. Yes some of the QP boys were indefinitely giving a bit extra and how Longridge fail to pick up two bookings was a surprise. Big George has himself to blame. Surely he realised the ref was a fanny and the I am in charge type. The challenge was from behind and look intended to get some revenge for tackles coming from the QPers but in reality caused no damage to the player. Plus the grinning in the face of opposition players ain't winning over many refs and has to stop. Anyway what a 8 day run of results.
  6. Can this book please be closed or transferred to the Cowshed forum. Pie and B forum is for rational discussion at each league level and not a forum for individual dirty washing.
  7. Ayr United 1 Airdrieonians 1 Dundee United 2 Raith Rovers 1 Dunfermline Athletic 2 Partick Thistle 2 Greenock Morton 3 Queens Park 1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2 Arbroath 1
  8. If we discard Broadfoot it would be 25.5 for Morton. That even allows us to keep Power in the numbers.
  9. Well great chance to put some distance between the bottom league spot. Had thought two draws and a win against QP would have been a good return from these three games but would be dizzy heights if we can get nine though seven would still get us back on solid ground. Great effort last night and same again should make us favourites on Saturday. With options on the bench we are starting to achieve the standards of last season. Power for Gillespie after 55/60 minutes is a good option as neither have 90 minutes in their legs but have that experience to get us through games. Plus our bonus X factor at left-back/throw-ins. 3 v 1 the Ton.
  10. Interesting take on people's assessment of his initial games. QOS supporters seemed to think he was poor. On arrival he was poor but I think had been Injured for part of the season. He is now fit and up to match levels and showing up well. Has been a good addition and as we all see with a decent squad and bench backup we are more competitive and able to get back up the table.
  11. Yes down to the supporters club , drinks on the house. Anyway thanks for the first gift maybe your CB's thought big George was still at ICT. ICT shaded the first half but don't remember them getting any shots on target. That's except the offside breakout. Ton should have put this to bed before your late rally. Feeling a lot better as I can now enjoy my festive Swally.
  12. Did seem like that lately but saved by the new manager bounce.
  13. Happy with that. Expect him to be hungry and giving it his all to get an extension or new club at the end of the STC. Need at least a draw on Saturday to keep them in reach and continue their bad run.
  14. With any luck they have chucked it. McIntyre@s appointment is one I am not sure about but hopefully the new manager bounce on Saturday ends in the north sea.
  15. Raith Rovers 3-1 Partick Th Airdrieonians 1-2 Dunfermline Ath Arbroath 1-1 Morton Dundee Utd 2-0 Ayr Utd Queen’s Park 1-1 Inverness CT
  16. Ayr Utd 2 - 1 Arbroath Dunfermline 2 - 0 Queens Park Morton 1 - 1 Dundee Utd Inverness CT 2 - 2 Raith Rovers Partick Thistle 2 - 1 Airdrie
  17. Hey my car battery has been fu#king me about since the cold snap hit. We both need to chill out, what will happen will happen and neither me nor you can change it. Keep well.
  18. I think being realistic we are now in a three team league. Us, Arbroath and QP Just shows how badly we are placed I got a lift seeing Dunfermline gub Arbroath. Should the next six games not close the gap ambition will sink to getting into the playoff spot. Big problem is we have being saying this for a few weeks without any progress but saved by those two being equally as bad as us. Don't agree we can accept defeat v D Unt this week. They have shown a lack of finishing recently and will be keen to get a result on Saturday. So prity open game, need to be secure at the back and more clinical up front. Increase in bench options will give us a chance to have a stronger bench and hopefully a result. The big question being will the game be on.
  19. Don't be silly, they will just fly up. With CT getting a 4 hr bus ride. Adjacent stadium to Raith or Airdrie. EEP it must be. PS Airdrie were good at the penalties today and we missed big Robbie's automatic conversion. Feck knows how this game ended 0 v 0 but a good game and gives us a bit of hope that there is a way back to the Championship pack.
  20. Good game today and style of play was much more entertaining. Mullen, Wilson, Gillespie and Bearne all contributed today and should all get more starts. Can't believe we didn't score with the number of chances created. Except for suspensions expect this team to get another chance next week in the cup. McGrattan missing the 14 pen was on the cards as he also showed up well.
  21. Dunfermline 0-3 Dundee United Airdrie 1-1 Arbroath Inverness 2-2 Ayr United Partick Thistle 2-1 Morton Queen’s Park 0-2 Raith Rovers
  22. Why be amazed! Did we not knock Celtic out the league cup prior to spiraling down to L1 last time. Don't see the MCT sacking Dougie, as having talked to some directors they seem to think Morton are on the way to a stable financial position but accept we can't compete with seven of the teams in the division as it is. Worryingly they don't see the impact of dropping a division and the effect the loss of prize money will have but am happy that finances are being put on solid grounds. So we will just need to do it with what we have and hope for a rabbit out the hat loan signing assisting our escape. All that being said the manager still needs to drop a few regular starters and give others a chance. All said and done these are the times we need to get behind the team.
  23. Have considered we need to change some of the players for a few weeks. Broadfoot ( a given), Power ( no great loss) but also MacDonald now coming into the frame, has had a few saves but surely should have saved two of those goals in the last week. Also French seems to be going downhill recently hope as D1974 above says this is down to playing with Broadfoot. Starting to think Wilson might be our only hope. Was all ready for the Firhill trek and a growing optimism but on reflection starting to feel this could go horribly wrong yet again.
  24. Morton 2-1 Dunfermline Arbroath 1-1 Partick Ayr 2-1 Queens Park Dundee utd 4-1 Inverness Raith 2-0 Airdrie
