Not a great day at the office for the wee teams.
Disappointing but there are tricky ties which pop up at this stage of the cup

Going very well in the league and very consistent

that is a good price for Pollok but they seem a bit hot and cold at times this season.
And this is a very tough tie.Brora put Stenhousemuir out convincingly last round and of course Hearts a few years back so will take a very big performance to get through this one.You are right-we can go from hammering Penicuik,Camelon,Gala and beating Linlithgow to losing to Dalry and going four behind after 50 minutes to Beith so can be Jekyll and Hyde!

Yep got to say Kilwinning beating AR by 3-0 was quite a result

Yes he is definitely now in the best shape and form since he joined us as he worked incredibly hard with his personal trainer and with the team over the summer to sharpen up as much as possible.

Clydebank are the form team-consistent again in the league and hard to beat home or away.

'Wonder if the community stadium is being fully used, booked up 24/7 -and whether KRR will end up playing elsewhere, leaving behind the 'white elephant' turning into a loss making situation. Yet another situation where the owners/council's almost seem to dislike football clubs etc.
Surely it won’t end with Rob Roy not being the main user/tenant of the new development. All of their plans were based on that.Dont know where the club would go if this transpired.

Since there's no Rob Roy thread this is as good a place as any - KRR have their first home game in almost two months (and another next week), but don't seem to be any closer to playing the now open Kirkintilloch Sports Complex?
I was wondering about this too.Is this saga ever going to end?Absolutely farcical.

I even heard they are paying him more than Darvel was. How much truth you can take from that, i'm not sure but the guy who told me hasnt been wrong about much and doesnt usually buy into too many rumours to be fair. I would be uneasy about my team not living within their means, its a dangerous game to play as has been highlighted in recent weeks
Yes I was amazed to see this signing. Are they trying to take over where Darvel left off…..

Been a magnificent player for Lok and is in his best ever form this season.I think that’s 17 or 18 goals so far?

They are a bit of a bogey team in cups for us as they also put us out of the West I think at quarter final stage in early 90s-again on penalties!

Well done to Dalry It must be the best result that i can remember them having
They were well organised and very up for it-closed down well and always looked clever on the break.I think a large number of the players came across in one group from another club and if so that shows.Must be strong candidates for promotion.

Polloks defending for both Dalry goals was horrendous.
Goalkeeper didn't look too clever either.
Spot on -and brought about by dropping our first choice keeper and centre half!

Dalry were well organised and had a game plan and played very well.
Lok dropped 5 regular starting players and it showed as never looked convincing and paid the price.Never underestimate opponents.

Pretty sure this is fine providing you get approval from the land owner. Which I think is Beith’s issue that they can’t get permission from the landowner to put floodlights
A difficult one -always thought Beith owned Bellsdale and didn’t realise they were tenants

That sounds perfectly normal with a long lease.
As long as the lease is of decent duration-which it sounds like it is at 99 or whatever years. To be fair the ground is pretty good now

I believe the ground is still council owned and had a 100 year lease attached to it for a nominal fee, at least that was the case 3 years ago.
Interesting-so all of the upgrades were added to a ground the club didn’t own ?

Yep looks like a red card from that still

Aside from the unfortunate spelling mistake, Darvel were making a big deal of their USB charging points in the home dressing room when Nandos rip off boy turned up.
Ah-ok.It is just a case when the money is pulled and they will disappear from view again. But as I said the facilities will have improved.

Wasn't at the away game but they are for me the best side to visit Newlandsfield so far this season.
Yip they have given us really tough games -old Frank and Paul have got them very well coached and they have some very good young talent.Plus add in the likes of Shaun Fraser who when he is focussed is a very good player and you have a strong team

Darvel, we're shite but you can chage your phone.
Not sure I quite follow but Darvel were certainly one of the lesser lights of junior football putting it mildly

Have the chookie hens laid a wee blow into the bankies title ambitions today and left them with egg on their faces?
That result has Ben coming
The Bens are a dangerous side -we got a right doing at Tinto and they could surprise many this season

They will definitely get to the end of the season. I have no doubt about that.
I did hear a rumour towards the end of last season that Gall got an ultimatum from auditors who visited Pie HQ.
Along the lines of run your business properly and stop throwing money at your hobby or you won’t have a business…
It’s easy to slate Gall and Kennedy but they did bring Darvel out of total obscurity into the headlines. The club had no history or heritage as a significant club in junior/non league football and it was always going to be a short term burst whatever way it played out-we have all seen that with various clubs over the years where a sugar daddy has arrived.
The ground has certainly been upgraded massively and if that is the only legacy then it’s decent.
