  1. Going out your way to post this, on the match thread, definitely proves your point so well imo.
  2. Whoever loses the league there be alot more pressure on them to win this. We have basically stuttered all season but Rodgers always seems to pull it out the bag against Sevco.
  3. I mean we did beat a former European super power once managed by the Fergie, same thing really.
  4. Gutting that. Quite moving seeing the Coventry fans at the end there with the players.
  5. Shankland looked like he was enjoying it as well tbf.
  6. Sorry but I think you might need to specify which end it was coming from?
  7. Always thought English water doesnt taste as good as Scottish water you could be on to something here.
  8. I think our fans have been harsh on Scales but he was pretty terrible yesterday. Yang has had far too many opportunities to show his worth and he is miles off it. Surely Rodgers needs to favour Forrest and Palma now or Kyogo with Idah starting in the middle.
  9. Yeah, that makes absolutely no difference as to whether it's a foul or not
  10. He's jumping in the air for ball of course any contact is most likely going to put him off balance ffs but there was a fair bit anyway.
  11. My sister told me the spoiler about 10 minutes in when it came on tv so didn't bother watching the rest. Worst film Ive seen at the cinema is the green hornet. It was meant to be 3d and it barely was. A truly atrocious film.
  12. Blaming a countrys problems on another country that they helped mess up is a bit gammony tbh
  13. Ultimately the right outcome has been achieved here yes? This is a very strange hill for you to die on. You have done this before on Celtic match threads and seem determined to find an injustice that often just aren't there. It's tedious AF.
  14. I'm sorry but the foul is quite conclusive for me he barges in to the back of him and gets nowhere the ball and stops Johnston from making contact with the ball. I'm not sure it can be anything other than a free kick really.
  15. The performance from @RandomGuy.on here is akin to our defence yesterday. Very busy and getting stuck in but ultimately don't have a clue to what they are doing.
  16. A fair point tbh however John Terry could have appealed his FA charge (above that body as well if required) but he didn't.
  17. For those games yes I get it as not a great deal more would have been sold at Hampden, plus Hampden is dogshit unless it's full. But to move it elsewhere when you know it's going to sell out would be ridiculous.
  18. If they are going to court against a governing body they are clearly appealing something. The boards politics are clearly different to that of ours but again I really have no idea what you are getting at now tbh.
  19. Being racist/sectarian can often be intwined with political displays, sadly even more these days but you can't blanket it all as the same hence why we keep getting constant nonsensical fines yet we haven't had a ban from Uefa of any real meaning, certainly not a points deduction. I think everyone knows the UEFA system is a bit of whip round for them really. They obviously do take action over actual racist actions eventually but you simply can't give it the same sanctions as political gestures. Eh? A club appeals something that they don't believe they are guilty of, automatically makes them guilty?
  20. It isn't that simple. If something isn't deemed racist/sectarian etc by the courts I'm not sure how a footballing body can decide it is. If a club/player thinks they are being unfairly treated they are still allowed to go above that body. It's a bit of a minefield to them really but if they were ever to try and clamp down on it.
  21. Not sure why it's been treated with such shock from the media given it was suggested as far back the creation of the third European competition and almost inevitable with the extended champions league now. I know trickle down economics is bollocks but there should be an increase in solidarity payments though on the back of this.
  22. I wouldn't be adverse to having a national stadium elsewhere but moving a semi that will sell out to a stadium that is about a third of the size of Hampden is a monumentally stupid suggestion.
