  1. Bon Iver in the SECC were absolutely phenomenal last night. Re:stacks live might be one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
  2. You missed the word "fire" at the end of the sentence there I think.
  3. That is fucking hideous. Johnny Vegas would be ashamed of wearing a piece of shit like that!!!
  4. It may just be the angle of her head, but Red Troosers has possibly the biggest nose I've ever seen. There're Anteaters that are jealous of the snorting ability of that schnoze. The other lassie looks pretty tidy though, good work ginger.
  5. Yeah, number 8 according to the Forbes list (Daniel Radcliffe, Shia LeBouef and Johnny Depp were the top 3) for 2011, likely helped by the fact that Fast and Furious 5 did an absolute shit tonne at the box office, which I'd imagine his inclusion definitely added to.
  6. Al Pacino's probably eaten in a MacDonald's or Burger King before, not exactly A-list food, but doesn't stop him being an A-List movie star. It would be a massive coup for the programme, he's no doubt be paid a fortune and it would raise his profile over here even higher while getting to do something out of the ordinary. Would be a win-win for everyone. Very unlikely to happen though I'd imagine.
  7. He was one of the top 10 highest grossing actors in the world last year, and he's in the top 5 highest paid actors in the world in 2012. He's DEFINITELY a massive A-List movie star.
  8. Eye don't think the two are mutually exclusive. I'd be up for attending, if you'd have me (oooerrr missus, etc, etc).
  9. I'm in a good mood today, the wife's just been struck off my life insurance...SPICE WORLD!!!
  10. I'm delighted to say I'm not an Aberdeen fan actually champ, I just live here!
  11. Seeing Armin Van Buuren at the Warehouse Project on Saturday down in Manchester, getting hospitality at Old Trafford beforehand too and a night out on Friday, should be a hell of a weekend!
  12. So top 15 then In no particular order - David Bowie Scroobius Pip The Beatles Frightened Rabbit Arctic Monkeys That's also subject to change at just about any time.
  13. Glad they've gone with Ryback v Punk, it's the right match and the way they're having Punk look like he's genuinely fucking terrified of him is only adding to the push. With Ryback being over as he is just now, it would make some sense to put the belt on him and capitalise, but I think it would really hurt CM Punk to take it off him at this stage. I kind of hope they go with the second scenario I suggested above of Brock coming back, costing Ryback and joining forces with Heyman and Punk. If they're planning keeping Vince on TV, a 6 man power struggle with Vince, Cena & Ryback v Heyman, Punk and Lesnar could make for some absolutely phenomenal television, especially if you have Punk as champion as it would give the added dynamic of Ryback and Cena both going for the belt while loosely co-existing as allies.
  14. Didn't realise that Stephen Merchant was a Partick Thistle fan! I'd have loved to have made this, but have to go up north for my old boy's birthday. Some other time perhaps.
  15. That's not what I'd describe as a reserve team, just about every single one of those players has been involved in the first team on multiple occassions this season, either starting, coming off the bench or being named in the first team squad. Reina, Johnson, Shelvey, Sterling, Allen, Henderson, Downing, Carragher, Gerrard, Suarez and Borini have all made multiple appearances this season. Are they all first choice in their position? No, but they're all first team players. In fact, Jack Robinson and Oussama Assaidi are the only two players that haven't appeared in the Premier League this season and the only two I wouldn't consider to be a Liverpool First Team player. That was not a reserve team, it was a Liverpool First Team Squad with a couple of youngsters as an addition.
  16. News stories confirming the transfer vary between £11 million and £12 million. Thought I'd be generous.
  17. Yip, definite reserve team - With first choice goalkeeper Pepe Reina, £18 million pound Glen Johnson, Jamie Carragher with close to 500 Liverpool appearances, £7.5 million Sebastien Coates, £18 million pound Jordan Henderson, £15 million pound Joe Allen, £20 million pound Stewart Downing, £11 million pound Fabio Borini starting and "Captain fantastic" Stevie "Me" Gerrard, and £25 million pound racist Luis Suarez coming off the bench for the last half an hour, how were they possibly ever meant to compete?
  18. Yeah, that seems to have been the pattern the last few years, although with Ryback getting the (possible) big push and Sandow consistently being involved in segments with top-level guys recently, hopefully they're moving away from that and going with a more "sink or swim" mentaltiy when it comes to trying to create stars. Cesaro's got the US title not long after debuting too. Fingers crossed anyway. From what I've seen of Ambrose from youtube clips and that, he looks as if he could be really, really good. Other potential scenario I was thinking about if they went with Punk v Ryback at HITC could possibly be have Brock return, depending on how many dates he has on his contract. Would imagine they'd want him involved in Survivor Series if possible, and with the Heyman connection they could do some kind of alliance with Punk and Brock, maybe a revision of the "Two Man Power Trip". Could then potentially have Punk v Cena for the title and Brock v Ryback in a beast v beast (note: not BEAST as per current Gen Nonse (pun intended) trend) match, which would be a pretty good way to maintain a main event push for Mr Feed Me More.. never seen the phrase "workrate perverts" before, that's cracking. We'll have to agree to disagree on that one, I'm a fan.
  19. Yeah, maybe not a duble countout Was thinking more along the lines of Heyman based interference, someone new to come in to the alliance maybe, could be a great way to debut Dean Ambrose if they're as keen on him as they're supposed to be. Her mannerisms and facial expressions are excellent, and she's absolutely stunning, I'm a fan. It's also increased the number of segments D. Bryan is in, which, as he's easily the most entertaining thing in wrestling for me at the moment, is definitely no bad thing.
  20. I quite like Ryback. I think Cena not making HITC and being replaced by Ryback would be the best thing that could happen to WWE at the moment. Having Punk beat him with a dirty win - with Ryback being undefeated and having destroyed everyone so far - would add a hell of a lot to CM Punk's "best in the world" angle, while you could keep Ryback looking strong and make a new bonafide star by battering him but have Punk sneak it somehow. Cena could then come back in and you could have Punk - Cena at Survivor Series and then start the build for whoever the Rock will be facing at RR after. Anyhoo, Raw was pretty decent, Sheamus v Sandow was excellent, as were CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Kane's contributions all the way through the show. Wish they'd start some actual angles with Miz and Cesaro with the Intercontinental & US titles though. Good to see Encore getting a start on the 'A' show, hopefully it'll go somewhere decent, would be nice to see McIntyre getting a decent push, wasn't ready for it first time round, think he might be now. I love AJ Lee.
  21. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are both 26 and both very highly thought of I think, as is Richie Steamboat who's only 25, so they could certainly be candidates. Cody Rhodes is excellent and young enough, but I'm not sure I could ever see him as a face.
  22. I predict Armageddon if Magee isn't allowed directly back on to P&B!

    Breaking Bad

I'm currently sitting in the office in my "Heisenberg" t-shirt my wee brother got me for my birthday on Tuesday...I feel like a fucking boss!
  24. Where did you see that? Statement they released only mentioned a heart attack. Yeah, fair play to him, imagine being expected to work when the guy you've worked with for years and more than likely class as a friend collapses unconscious next to you, it'd be fucking horrendous. If that's true then McMahon really is a heartless b*****d.
