    Modern Family

I love Modern Family, it's a fantastic show, Cam especially is absolutely hilarious. His Billy Elliot rant has me in stitches everytime - "I just wanna dance in the ballet"
  2. Yip, far too busy doing charity work to go shopping like that selfish Ronaldo...

    Suits

I've watched the full series twice now after downloading it all, wouldn't rule out a third, it's an absolutely fantastic programme. Very much looking forward to Season 2. Trevor is a fucking cock!!!
  4. Is the "fantastic heel champion that can't be beaten because he's too good and therefore an arrogant sod" not what they've done with Austin Aries in the X-division? Surely having both your main singles champions working the same gimmick would be a bit of over-kill unless they were part of a Legacy type group?
  5. "I'm the Hiphopopotamus, my lyrics are bottomless..... ........... ..........." Yass Flight of the Choncords!!!
  6. "I liked D. Bryan before he was World champion" - Booker is such a Scenester
  7. I can confirm that this statement is correct. Pip and Dolan were absolutely phenomenal, as expected. Two of the soundest guys you'll ever meet as well. Great night.
  8. The writing on Rock's hand was definitely a work for me. There's no way I'm buying that someone who's been at the top of professional wrestling for over 15 years and countless hollywood blockbusters wouldn't know hs lines without scribbling notes on is wrist, especially when it's been hyped for weeks and the camera is going to be directly on him for ages, he's also a good enough actor to act as if he was shocked and rattled. It also works perfectly to boost Cena's "you're never here, you don't care' schtick. Cena's promo was quality, as he was last week, only way I can see anything other than a Cena win is if Rock does stay 'til Summerslam as was rumoured a while back and cheats to win at 'Mania, which could be a HUGE heel turn and would be pretty damn brilliant I think.
  9. The Punk - Jericho segment was excellent, definitely the match I'm looking forward to most at 'Mania, but why on earth would you use a match between the two world champions and arguably two best in-ring talents to push that shitty GM angle? What a total clusterfuck that was at the end, surely a match between mid-card Raw and Smackdown talent would be a better choice instead of taking the spotlight from and ruining what should be seen as a major match?
  10. Scroobius Pip in the Arches for me tomorrow night, cannot wait.
  11. Is Eve getting telt the quickest heel commeupance ever? Johnny and Teddy are both dreadful, although Mr Excitement is definitely the more preferable of the two, but I'd love to see Foley get the gig, someone with some actual charisma and that doesn't constantly forget his lines. What kind of cretins shout 'what?' while the Undertaker is speaking? Total fucking morons. Phenomenal (pardon the word play pun) stuff from those two though, Hell in a Cell could be amazing but the build to it certainly will be. Looking forward to both Sheamus v Bryan and Punk v Jericho as well, either match could quite comfortably 'steal the show'. Cena's promo was excellent, more of the same intensity from now on please. I never, ever want to see Aksana in a wrestling ring ever again.
  12. Went to Justice on Sunday, and like everyone else, thought it was absolutely excellent, spent an absolute fortune all weekend and we were kittied up, so ddn't really notice the expense, but the gig itself was ace, we were in the fourth row on the balcony and no-one sat down or stopped moving outside the front tw rows who were made to. Went to see Noel Gallagher back here on Tuesday as well, incredible as you'd expect. The man is an absolute hero and the band are pretty tight too, so was a very good gig. You know you've got one hell of a back catalogue when you can miss off Wonderwall from your set on Valentines, the roof nearly came off during the first chorus of 'Don't Look Back in Anger'. Scroobius Pip on the 29th in the Arches next...can't wait.
  13. Apologies if this is what Sam's link was in the wacky Japanese post above (can't get youtube at work), but this has had me laughing for minutes now. Best event simulation ever.
  14. Why, when praying, does David Otunga do a Bruce Forsyth impression?
  15. Justice on Sunday in Glasgow and then Noel Gallagher on tuesday here in Aberdeen, should both be cracking. Anyone know who's supporting Justice? Is it Totally enormous extinct Dinosaurs? Sure I saw their name mentioned somewhere.
  16. I'd like it to run for a few more weeks as it is, and then for him to just snap and destroy Long in his office, "there's your something different you baldy old fucker", or words to that effect. Maybe even re-introduce / re-package the "Chosen One" gimmick, have him destroy the lower carders he's lost to recently and then take it from there.
  17. Just finished watching there and I enjoyed the majority of the show. You're limited with what you can do with Big Show and a very injured Mark Henry in a cage match and the heelish way in which Bryan won it - sneaking out the cage - was the perfect finish. Didn't watch the Divas, Cena v Kane was pretty meh, but the double Countout was the right result for both guys and Kane destroying Cena and Ryder - hopefully leading to a Cena heel turn in time for 'Mania and Rocky - made a lot of sense. Nice to see Brodus getting a win on PPV and keeping Drew's losing streak storyline going, think that's probably the most offence anyone's got in against the funky one so far. Was glad to see Brodus not in the rumble too, was never going to win it, so wouldn't have done the guy that is squashing everyone to get eliminated on his first PPV (think this is his first PPV? Certainly with this gimmick anyway) any good. Punk v Ziggler was good, I liked Johnny boy sooking arse prior to tonight. Didn't think about him being able to screw Punk with the "only a two count" shout until this thread, could be a decent way to keep it going though. Rumble was enjoyable too, especially the Foley, Ricardo, Santino segment, guessing nobody picked up on it, but Foley turning to Gabriel and saying "what're you doing, he's just a civilian" when he drop kicked Ricardo had me in stitches, as did the entirety of Ricardo's stay. Miz and Cody looked ace and I did some serious marking out when the D O double G arrived, Hacksaw was cracking too, the "USA" chants we loud as hell. Could get a really good feud out of Sheamus and Bryan I think, hopefully from now until 'Mania, will be interesting to see where they go with Jericho though, as if there's not something massive in the next week or two (preferably tonight) it'll be a major waste and disappointment.
  18. KWB's terrified screams may never be more appropriate, although I think I may be able to shed some light on what it is, a distant (and in far worse shape) relative of Mortal Kombat's Goro perhaps...?
  19. I would fucking LOVE to see DDP in the rumble, pretty sure he's got a Legends deal and hosted one of the WCW based videos recently? Would imagine he'd be in decent shape with his yoga and that too.
  20. Batista has lost a fair bit of weight and muscle since leaving wrestling eh?
  21. Ooooft, I like that even more, Div makes some money to renovate P&B towers - or spend on prostitutes, whichever he prefers - and the Lidl's Inferno Pizza gets to sponsor one of the most prestigious events of the year. I like your thinking KB, I like it a lot
  22. It's a cracking idea Barry, would be the perfect way to both symbolise Great Britain in 2012 and drag the Olympics in to the modern world, sadly though, if my experience is anything to go by, your efforts may - like the Junkie's diet - be fruitless. You see I tried to get the cuntos from the Olympic Committee to introduce an event and bring it up here to Aberdeen, "The Belmont Street Alcoholic Hobo Dash". Picture the scene, a middle-distance (for the Homeless) sprint on a straight yet unlevel street, filled with takeaway food, pubs and pissed-up revellers (it would be held at night) on both pavements. The physcial battle of the race would be there for all to see, but imagine the mental toughness of the 'athletes' - stumbling past unmanned chip shops and deserted pint pumps all in the quest for Olympic gold (in this instance a years supply of Special VAT, perfect with it's gold can to symbolise the medal, with Silver cans of Tennents for the runner-up, Bronze coloured Can TBC), all while trying to avoid the steaming messes cheering them on from the sidelines, where fights, swearing, race track invasions and pitch side shagging would not only be the norm, but actively encouraged - an incredible display of mental fortitude. Olympic Committee turned it down of course, apparently not "in the Olympic spirit" or family friendly enough. Joey Barton's not far wrong with these Sports Association Heads not having a clue what people want in the modern era. The Commonwealth games will lap it up though, those fuckers understand what the people want.
  23. Having only discovered this thread and yet to try "The Bad Boy", this is an idea I like. Think the P & B 5's catered exclusively by Lidl's Inferno Pizza could be a winner?
