  1. I think he got his second yellow for his reaction to the free kick. It originally looked like he wasn't going to get booked but he starts shouting and waving his arms around and the referee seemed to change his mind.
  2. Yes - no doubt the use of the word Lodge causes confusion but plenty of organisations have a lodge
  3. To my knowledge there is absolutely no connection between free-masonry and the Orange order. Some individuals could conceivably be members of both but that doesn't mean its exclusive. I'm a member of the Caravan Club; that doesn't mean that every member of the Caravan club are Livi Supporters (would they were).
  4. Livingston F.C. v Rangers F.C. cinch Premiership 18/02/2023 3:00pm Tony Macaroni Arena Referee: David Dickinson AR1 Drew Kirkland AR2 John McCrossan Fourth Official Colin Steven VAR Andrew Dallas AVAR David McGeachie
  5. I know what you're thinking but, at the end of the day, we were well beaten on Saturday; an off day for everyone. It would probably have been worse if we'd lost by the odd goal and a catastrophic refereeing decision. Onwards and upwards!
  6. When sober Stryjek could be an excellent keeper. There was plenty of stories linking him to a money move but, perhaps, he could be his own worst enemy.
  7. Didnt something similar happen with Stryjek? Certainly did with Dykes
  8. Cant see it personally. He had a very poor game on Saturday and I think he needs a couple of more years first team experience before there is any possibility of a big money move. Personally I'd think it far more likely they'd look at someone like Liam Kelly.
  9. I do think Obileye has been looking shaky on occasions this season. He has previously been a pretty reliable goalkeeper but, with Boyes getting his chance, we now got someone to compare him with. Boyes has not only been a competant defender but is far more attacking minded that Obileye. When Obileye gets to ball he repeatedly looks to pass the ball to Fitzwater or George whereas Boyes tends to prefer getting the ball up the left wing. This has the effect of also relieving pressure on the defense.
  10. Congratulations to Cally. For the band that traveled down for the game; safe journey home. I think the journey goes so much better with a win under your belt.
  11. George also had a mare; very poor; kept waiting for an invitation to come for the ball. Maybe Fitzwater was carrying an injury but he got skinned repeatedly in the second half. Actually very few pass marks today; says something when the player of the second half was Bahamboula and he was only on for about 30 mins. Whilst on the subject can some please inform me what Shinnie adds to the mix other than running around a lot and losing the ball?
  12. There definitely a player in there but he's either failed to adapt to the Scottish game or the speed and intensity that we expect. If he can hold down a regular slot with Raith maybe we'll see what he can do. Good luck to him.
  13. Hey - the Falkirk stadium is even further from a pub than ours. And talking boozers is NEVER a waste of time.
  14. Post pandemic; Sunday has become more popular for weddings not least because it was so difficult to get a venue for a Saturday without booking some considerable time in advance. That being said; Saturday is still the most convenient allowing Sunday for travelling etc. Of course if your Sabbath is a Saturday then all bets are off.
  15. That would probably be correct provided there's not another function already booked for the Almondvale Suite e.g. wedding; which seems to quite often happen when we have a fixture rearranged. Plenty of places in the centre but most seem to have a colours ban (or did so; its a long time since I had a drink in the centre).
  16. its meant to be on Sunday March 26 isn't it? Think our Women's team are at home that day; of course its possible that they could be rearranged.
  17. That sounds an exorbitant amount particularly seeing as how we already have the infrastructure in place. Equal to 666 ticket sales.
  18. Whilst on the subject is there any chance of seeing Jamie Brandon before the end of the season?
  19. Probably surplus to requirements now with so many options ahead of him. Shame because he did start to look like he had potential but wasn't getting a start at left back any time soon.
  20. Wasn't suggestion we shouldn't respect ICT or any other Championship side; pretty sure we all remember what a tough division it was; competitive to a fault. Effectively a league with ten side with six either fighting for promotion or relegation at the end of the season.
  21. Agreed but I'd still like to see Luiyi de Lucas get a run out after all the hype. However is he currently behind Obileye in the pecking order?
  22. I thought Queens were knocked out due to ineligible player? As a side note I think quite a few Livi fans have been watching the tussle at the top of the championship with interest; not so much for who wins it but who gets into the playoffs; at the moment it looks like it could be any three from a choice of seven? The winner of that playing the 11th side in the Premiership could be really quite "interesting" with the prospect of United v. Dundee or St Johnstone or County vs ICT? Throw Ayr vs Killie into the mix and wow! Stop Press - TENNA have announce stepping up production of their line of incontinence underwear for men in Scotland having recently exhausted supplies .in the Manchester city area.
  23. Yes; that was a game when we actually looked better once our goalkeeper had been sent off. It was also the start of our nightmare relationship with penalties.
