  1. Whether it takes years or decades, the end goal of these b*****ds is to get Rangers and Celtic's B Teams permanently into the SPFL and in perpetual possession of the top 2 spots in the Scottish Championship, We should do everything we can to delay and frustrate them
  2. Fairly sure you can purchase online right up to kick off.
  3. For anyone interested, tickets for the Killie cup match are now avbl direct through them. This might have already been mentioned on our site but it's such an unnavigable, unfinished mess that I can't be sure.
  4. Can't see them hanging about the Rock next season if our pitch turns into a sand pit again. I hope we push to play the rearranged games asap. Back-ending it all into March would be silly.
  5. January - Twilight Sad February - Karnivool/The Ocean, Katatonia/Solstafir March - Archspire April - Dvne, P.G Lost May - Bruce Springsteen June - Roger Waters August 2024 (FFS!) - Metallica
  6. Nah, if we're voluntarily changing to anything it's "The Rock".
  7. Echo the thoughts expressed here re the new website. Feels like 2 steps forward, 4 back at the moment. The lack of content on what you might assume to be basic info is really frustrating.
  8. A useful prompt to go back and revisit some of the hot takes from the opening few pages of the thread as we were assured by various opposition fans that we weren't good enough for the Championship
  9. I'd say the run of form CT produced in the Championship before succumbing to injury and fitness issues is probably the most complete I've seen from any Sons midfielder. For a few months he was untouchable.
  10. Is that CT Chris Turner in one of the images? That's worth the purchase alone.
  11. At least there's milder weather forecast in the run up to the 150th match v EF. Would have been a blow if that one fell to the conditions.
  12. I'm doing the Boston weekend. Fucking expensive but the dates are in Aug 2024 so a bit of time to spread the cost.
  13. I was checking 4th round dates after about 15 mins tonight. Clyde are jobby and if anything we should have won far more handsomely.
  14. It’s important the players, staff, officials, fans and anyone else with a meaningful emotional connection to DFC take a moment to reflect on the ramifications of conceding to Nae Goals McCluskey. I don’t know where we go from here.
  15. That's really disappointing from LoG, particularly since the gig was sold out. It's been nearly a decade since they headlined here. Contrastingly, Damnation's success is terrific and well deserved. Hopefully the event continues to go from strength to strength over the next few years. It and ArcTanGent are the only UK festivals I'd consider attending now.
  16. A sensible but deadly switch for those of us who enjoy a scoop.
  17. This isn’t coming from match attending fans, who have largely been supportive of Farrell and with any grumbling being done under breath. It heightens our long-held suspicion that he’s trawling sites such as P&B and the Facebook hell-hole for a temperature take on how fans are feeling. Farrell might want to take a leaf out his predecessor’s book and completely fucking ignore the internet noise. It’ll drive him to distraction otherwise.
  18. McLean done well enough to sit up the cross for Bucky’s goal but he’s definitely not offering enough over the piece. I’m fairly satisfied with that performance. The conditions and environment were tricky to navigate and we’ve been in a bit of a tailspin recently. To score a few goals and create several more chances was a reasonable return. Hopefully we can kick on now in the league. Downside this evening was how easily our defence (Carswell in particular) got turned by their shitty one-dimensional attack. A cause for concern that.
  19. Wasn't it just. Sometimes when things are bad, my mind tells me that it'll never be as bad as that season. It passed from hard slog to genuine curiosity of ‘just how bad can this get’ long before the end. I found the following season a harder slog tbh, having stupidly expected that we might win a few games.
  20. I don’t know that it will be particularly tense. I worried about a junior outfit “giant-killing” us when we were a Championship team but as a League Two side I don’t think anyone would be particularly surprised if Cumnock knock us out. It would just be a run of the mill defeat to my mind.
  21. I'd like to think the football authorities will have learned their lesson from jumping the gun when the old woman died. But likely not.
  22. Whilst an emotional response from the sorry lot who went to the game today is completely understandable, there’s no way our football club is going to sack a manger who’s got the team positioned first in the league. Just no way at all. We’d have to be out the top 4 and free-falling before a change in direction was even considered.
  23. Or they could just switch the lunch round to post-match. I've done Hampden hospitality a couple of times for early start Scottish cup semi finals and that process has worked well.
