Their next 3 games are fairly winnable as well. It's not over though by any means. I recall posts like this in the weeks leading up to Israel playoff in March 2020. One of the learning points from the Covid experience is that football matches and tournaments at any level can, on a whim, be canned, postponed, abandoned, moved about or rescheduled in such a way that has no regard for player welfare. The starting point here is to find out how Ukraine wish to proceed and act on those intentions. If that means inconveniencing a load of different nations then that's just how it will be.

I would encourage folk to keep trying. The sales system for these big matches at Hampden is a shambles and sections that previously showed as unavailable will invariably reappear with seats to sell. They'll also announce that it's sold out at least 3 times before it actually is.

I suspect it's the Concert Hall's link to Glasgow Life and the Cooncil that is bringing through this nonsensical approach to restrictions. The Mogwai gig in there last November was a similar experience. The gigs I've attended in other venues across Glasgow have seen a far more sensible application of the rules (i.e they've just left it up to the fucking customer to determine what's reasonable and what's not).
