Does he f**k deserve any sympathy. He wasn’t doing it for free ffs. He was getting paid a decent enough wage and done a fucking horrendous job and saddled us with some absolute fucking dross. Fucking sympathy.

Yup totally agree - don't understand the sympathy for Sheerin at all.

He's one of a staggering number of serious handicaps we've been lumbered with, and I can't think of a single redeeming feature of his time here.  Not one...

On the other hand; his "tactics" (such as they were), his decision-making, team selection, substitutions, motivation, signings, captaincy blind spot, favouritism blind spot, pig-headedness, inability to respond to in-game conditions, interviews, defeatist demeanour...  all utterly abysmal.  Sympathy?? Really?

This Seaside League seems to be affecting the home support! Or is it apathy?

We get that your fishing, but tbh its pretty remarkable that the support has held up at 4k over the last few seasons, given the utter nonsense we've had to watch.  When we fall apart again this season, which we will, next season's attendance will surely plummet.

Another example of telfer completely disappearing in a game where we really need him to shine. No point strutting your stuff against the dross then taking the day off every time we play a half decent team.

Yeah, he did rather; but to be fair to him, 1) Sheerin plays him in front of the back 4 which is nonsensical,  and 2) he wasn't very good but I did think he was trying to find support but all around him were standing still instead of getting into space to give him an option.

Cba actually typing out much to add to earlier comments. A team of shitebags and a manger with no clue what to do.

If you picked any ten minutes from that second half and showed them to an putsider and just said, tell me Falkirks tactics are here, they 100% would be unable to offer an answer.

    We have ZERO gameplan

    Yup.
Montrose played quick, crisp passes across both sides of the pitch, into space, for their guys to run on to. Cut us open countless times.

We play pedestrian, half-paced square balls across the back then hit an obvious, rushed pass (too hard) to a man with his back to goal and a defender (or two) behind him.  Its utterly embarrassing nonsense.

Get out Sheerin, this is beyond the pale. Everyone can see - especially opposition managers - you are woefully inept. .

  5. Utterly abysmal. The most amazing thing about every utter dung performance we turn in, we somehow manage to be even worse the next time. Dunno how they manage it.  Some folks keep saying "surely we can't get any worse"... clearly, we can.

Sheerin is drowning, and taking the team down with him.  Shambolic amateurism all round.

  6. Until Morrison & Keena came on, we created the square root of f.a.  Until then it was sideways passing at snails pace, as usual.  The only time the ball went forwards was to someone with their back to goal and an Alloa player at his back. Its utterly embarrassing amateur nonsense from Sheerin.

And that nonsense at the end just sums us up. Other than the unexpected welcome return of Morrison, the only other incident of note was Nesbitt going absolutely mental at Hetherington for fecking up - again - in the run up to the alloa stramash & shot off the line.

"Dunfermline were not as much beaten by a football side but by the stormy February weather"

Honestly who comes up with and who signs off on this absolute sh*te. It's actually infuriating.

Maybe the Falkirk fans should play the stormy February weather, then we'll see who's really responsible for their team being sh@t.

Presumably this would need to be a H & A double-header, can't have the stormy weather getting an unfair advantage.

I worry that the Falkirk players/staff will have a bit of a siege mentality and will be looking for someone to skelp for the start of a bounce back. As ever, I hope we can become the latest chapter in the Bairns' banter season, but I fear another comfortable 3-0 (at least) is on the cards .

Our um, eh, chairman Gary um, eh, Deans made a statement - or was it a question? - after the Covid/Raith decision that um, eh, we'd be having um, eh, something of an um, eh, siege mentality going forward.

Like anything and everything else he said since, that was all hot air and baloney.  "Seige mentality" implies a whole heap of characteristics we don't possess, on or off the park.

Since then, we've plumbed new depths of point-and-laugh ineptitude...not only are we not going forward, we're not even going backward. Just downward.

3-0 to Falkirk is about as likely as an um, eh, apology from Deans.  1-0 Clyde.

Wearing a t shirt with GD's arrogant condescending words is an endorsement of the fool, at least that is how he would see it.

A glorification of Deans , vindication of his arrogance and support for him - at least that is how I would see it.

Maybe something like "That's an insult not an answer" with a picture of the hopeless um...er...um buffoon &  'GET OUT" below would suit better.

Have decided my t-shirt will read

    "Here's a STATEMENT for you..."

    with

    "Off you f**k"

    on the back

Maybe have to get ex-bairn Davie Nicholls to dust off his boots although he has been away for quite a while  🤪

Davie Nicholls could quite comfortably play on Saturday, and moreover would rule the midfield, against our feather-light piss-poor waste-of-space "captain".

Expect open-mouthed amazement from Peterhead fans on Saturday when they see how easily they win this game 2-0.

Home side always changed in the juniors. Saved having to take 2 kits with you, when the home side had their 'change' kit readily available.

Reminds me of the time Falkirk played at Kirkcaldy in Raiths change kit! That's when they played in Royal Blue, before they changed to Navy.

I also remember that game. We looked like total amateurs (wow...How little has changed). Falkirk ran out wearing Raith's white kit, and big Stuart Burgess had covered over the Raith crest on his top with sticking plaster. 🤣  Top Boy.

He has said Ruth is going to get a run of games. Krasniqi gets on for 6 minutes.

The man will always play Hetherington regardless, he will play Ruth regardless, he will play one up front regardless.
Tbh, his treatment of Krasniqi is bordering on the shameful. Lemon again looking effective.

Sheerin isn’t prepared to be proven wrong, so he will reset next week to the same format with neither Lemon nor Krasniqi or Keena anywhere near the starting line up.

Well, if that's the case, and sad to say I sense you're absolutely right, then he needs hounded out.

Irrespective of the bigger issues around the cancer that is Holt, and  the incompetence and mismanagement of Deans, if the manager can't  - or won't - pick his best players, out of spite, bloody-mindedness, or downright stupidity, then it's time to get himself right off to fcuk.

  13. You were very unlucky not to get a point today.  Played with width, won the midfield battles, one off the line twice in that first half stramash, and the shot at the end that hit the post could easily have gone in.   EF not the worst team I 've seen this season (that would be us at Alloa).

Ruth looks a completely different player with Keena beside him, as he did last week.

Sheerin admitted when he came over that he got it wrong first half. That much I heard, didn’t hear much more.

Agree with the first bit;  second bit is more concerning as Sheerin didn't just get it wrong first half - he's been getting it wrong for weeks.

Big, big test coming up  - he now has to admit he's got it wrong,  & change the team and the set -up.

  15. Sheerin was beckoned over by a group at the front of SS & he went across.  Couldn't tell what he said in reply but he was told in no uncertain terms to fecking play Kenna in a 2 up front.

He is close to Yogi levels of stubborn-ness, between his decisions on  Keena, 2up front, Krasniqi & Hetherington.   The worry is he'll revert to the usual pish set-up to show the fans he's "boss"

Today was utter dross, forget the score; and if he refuses to see it - and change his attitude pronto - then he'd best just get out now.
