I don't agree Ali's boring. Ebdon is, yes. Carter has always been an attacking player, if he wants to improve his safety play a bit I don't see the harm. I saw Ronnie turn down one or two pots he would definitely have gone for years ago. I'm not sure about "the Captain" nickname but I don't reckon they get much say over the nicknames anyway. One of the "specialist" rounds on Mastermind this evening at 7.30pm is "Everton F.C. since 1992". Thought I'd mention it as know there are a few Everton fans on here.

He sounds like a nob. But when I saw him play he looked very promising so hope he works out his problems and does well. Hopefully he won't be the next Duncan Ferguson/Steven Fletcher who strops off and refuses to play for Scotland.
